Seafood and fish obviously given its an island. Specialities are charcuterie (smoked and dried pork loin particularly good) and cheese. Mainly tomme type cheeses but this ricotta thing. Sweet stuff not my style. Nice stews too but not that tempting in hot weather

Cow's milk? I don't do sheep/goat's cheese and was concerned there'd be lots of dishes with that.

Mainly goat and sheep tbf. That said go to carrefour and get the reflets de France range if you want nice cheese

Trapani in Sicily is excellent. Nice beach's and an old town . Not a British scratter in sight. Always a plus point
