Put a flat earthier into space

The exercise is for you to think out of the box. Piece the jigsaw instead of fighting it and you just never know.
Start by dismantling your schooled globe if you want to find out alternatives.
That's key but it has to be down to you, not me to aid in that as you well know, I'm an idiot so my help would be a hindrance.
Yeah we all like our idiocy unhindered.
Those distances can be made by tweaking that map. It's just a case of scaling it to fit the distances offered.
Yes, make it curved, that will fix it.

I’ve taken your musings with an open mind, dismantled the globe model and put everything back together again and I still am 100% certain we are on a globe.
Then that's all you need. Just go with that because nothing I can say will alter that.
Nothing you have stated makes much sense to be honest but your lack of evidence hinders you greatly 🤷‍♂️
It doesn't hinder me one bit.
It may hinder you from getting into what I'm saying but that's down to you and not my issue to be fair.
Yeah we all like our idiocy unhindered.

Yes, make it curved, that will fix it.
Or dismantle the curve and put it back to normal.

Yes, they pretend to believe in a flat Earth and steal a living making films about it, writing books about it, selling t-shirts and hats but never once offering anything in the way of proof. Ever.
Maybe some do but imagine the pittance made compared to the trillions spent on bulling the public about a spinning ball and space rockets and space suns and moons and planets and black holes, wormholes, and probes from the 70s sending data back to good old spinning Earth through a vacuum and then a supposed radiation ring around the supposed spinning globe and then to a receiver and so on and so on and so on.

I actually do belly laugh at times when I see the ridiculousness of it all, not to mention the pathetic going on in a fake space station.

The list is almost endless of silliness but it's handed out as official so people simply believe it.
Go on then tweak, I'm honestly interested as to how you can make them work.
Nice puzzle for you
I just might do it. Maybe the weekend.

Simple way is tear off thin strips of paper with 1cm representing 1000km
Put a letter at the end of each strip e.g joburg to australia would be 11cm long with a J at one end and an A at the other.
Due that for a city in Australia, Japan, UK and South Africa, basically lines between each possible route.
Try and put all of the ends with matching letters together so all of the strips join up, or are even close.

You've put more effort into writing that out than he will ever put into doing it.

We're still talking about flat earth videos on YouTube right?
Nahhhh, all through school and colleges and universities and libraries, plus TV and Video and pictures and of course, as you say, youtube.

It seems everything on youtube relating to a spinning globe and space and whatnot is truth but anything on youtube going against it is just youtube fantasy, right?
You're welcome to it but it changes nothing to be fair.
Helpful hint....
It will work if you put a curve in the map,
No need for any curve unless you add in mountains and uneven terrain.

Before too long I can see you changing your tune, on the quiet mind you, not in front of the forum. ;)

Probably not all

somewhere between fantasy and absolute stupidity.

Nothing will change a closed mind that does not wish to learn.

It's the only way to make it work.

I agree but then again it's a clever ploy when you realise people can't verify a globe or spin and certainly not space and such.
It's a good control thing and a great money maker.

I agree but then again when you're schooled from an early age to later years en masse. It goes from Santa to the tooth fairy to the easter bunny and then it gets more severe with a spinning globe and all the rest of the gunk.
It's the only way to make it work.

But I can, so...
and certainly not space and such.
Cant say I've been, but I can see it so...

Yes, it keeps me from inventing stupid carbon arc projector worlds because I know they're stupid and I know there's really a Sun and we go around it etc. I feel so controlled.

There you go again with the Santa thing. It really hurt you finding out he wasn't real didn't it.

But you dont know anything
One minute at the gym and shoulders back, arms out, and a deep "yeah"...
But I can, so...
