@Nukehasslefan please advise how one of the main pillars of material science is fundamentally flawed.
Youngs Modulus! The memories come rushing back! West Park College in the late 60s. Day release.
... sorry, got carried away.

Why can't you do it? You are the one making these wild claims, surely it is counter productive for us to do the hard work. We might not do the diagram you are looking for.

As it stands you offer no proof.
I've done many diagrams I even had an upturned bowl on a plate full of water with countries drawn on once.
He has offered nothing.
Nothing at all.

He did offer his diagram showing a slice though the world to prove water level or something and his lemon squeezer map he stole from a book from the 1800s.

Both got so absolutely destroyed he will never offer anything again

Ah yes.

Indentations.

All ocean topography was a lie.
The earth without sea was like a lemon squeezer, but the southern hemisphere countries were basically on top of huge mountains, but the sea depth was not thousands and thousands of feet deeper in the southern oceans for some reason

You couldn't make it up.........

Oh hang on

I offer what I offer. It's not down to me to do the thinking from that. It's down to whoever wants to delve deeper. It seems you and others don't and I'm fine with that.
Asking for proof works both ways and if none can be accepted then the debate rolls on.

I want to dive deeper into your thinking but you are not sharing.

The problem is you offer very little and it is all one sided. You demand absolute proof in the smallest of detail for accepted reality and I know myself and others have provided a lot of detail. Yet on the other side you make claims but never go into any detail or proofs. How do you know there is no such thing as pull, there is only push? How have you proved this, have you done experiments and if you have, what did you do? This is science that could really change our way of thinking and like everything else, you don't want to share. You seem to feel you need to adopt the idea of compartmentalisation rather than open sharing which we have in the scientific community. Now is your chance.

Or it could be that you have no proof that there is only push, no pull. I know when I used to go out on the pull I was told to push off a lot, but I don't quite think that counts.

The debate rolls on because it is one sided. You have one side (which I call reality) in which masses of information and detail is provided against a fantasy land where you hint, allude or make claims with no evidence. So why not try to address that balance and change our thinking that it is a fantasy?

You've provided all kinds and I've told you you're offering zero proof. You believe otherwise but still do not offer it.
You offer words. I offer words. Others follow suit with their words.
It leaves nothing to guarantee proof unless people appeal to authority.
What I offer, whether it suits you or others or not, is just that. You can make of it what you will. If it's worthless to you then go with that. To others it may offer a bit of food for thought on the quiet.

It's all about opinions.

It's all about understanding the forces needed to compress and how and why it happens from a deeper perspective rather than a face-value offering that most generally goes by without a second thought.
A pull does what?
Suction does what?
Can you describe what's really happening in terms of the use of force to gain what you see as a pull?
This is science that could really change our way of thinking and like everything else, you don't want to share.
It could indeed change some people's way of thinking and it's all about each person using their own mind to decide on what's being said whether it's brushed off or ridiculed or actually offering food for thought.
That's down to the individual and I'm fine in any way it's taken.

Life is compartmentalised in terms of what reality is against the stories of fiction. It's all about gathering the pieces to find the right shelf of fiction or fact or a mixture or do the jigsaw.
Or it could be that you have no proof that there is only push, no pull. I know when I used to go out on the pull I was told to push off a lot, but I don't quite think that counts.
What counts to you is what you're willing to look into.

I'm not here to change your thinking.
I'm offering my opinion based on my own thoughts and workings.
What I offer can be ignored or looked at and it's down to what anyone can take from it.

I offer what I offer.

Nothing but gibberish and lies.

It's not down to me to do the thinking from that.

It would probably be good for you if you did some thinking at some point in your life.

It's down to whoever wants to delve deeper.

We already have. You skimmed the surface of maths and science, saw some words you didn't understand, got scared, and invented your own little fantasy world where you don't have to know the real rules because you just make them up yourself and refuse to divulge how you came to your conclusions.

I mean that's fine, if you want to live in such a world, that's up to you, but don't expect anyone else to join in your fantasy if you can't provide any evidence at all that stands up the slightest scrutiny.

It seems you and others don't and I'm fine with that.

Oh, we do. You don't.

You either don't understand that, or you refuse to accept it.

Either way, whatever.

Asking for proof works both ways and if none can be accepted then the debate rolls on.

The lies with the person making the claim against the status quo. This is a philosophical imperative that has been known for so long that there's a standard LATIN phrase for it: Onus probandi incumbit ei qui dicit, non ei qui negat.

Christopher Hitchens summed it up neatly when he said "what may be asserted without evidence, may be dismissed without evidence."

You have provided zero evidence of any musing of yours that challenges the status quo, therefore the rest of us can all safely dismiss it all without evidence.
It's all about opinions.

No, it's not.

It's all about a status quo that has been defined by people providing testable, repeatable proof for thousands of years. If you believe the status quo is wrong, you have to prove it, otherwise you're just talking bollocks.

Yeah but you haven't done any workings - you have just made up a whole fantasy about the way the world behaves with absolutely no theory, mathematical model, logic, physics, evidential proof or experimental proof to even hint at how it can all be supported. It is by it's very definition an opinion i.e. "a view or judgement formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. "that, in my opinion, is right". With no proof or anything to support that opinion it becomes invalid and worthless.

And you're more than entitled to go with what you said above. I accept that, so now you have a choice whether to understand what I'm offering as being no relevance or proof to you and just use it as a thought process, or totally overlook anything I say and concentrate on those who offer you something.

Either way, I'm absolutely fine with it.

You see, I'm just reading that as waffle. I asked for details.

"A deeper perspective rather than a face-value offering" is suggesting you know more than the rest of us, and that there is no such thing as pull, but apart from hinting you have this secret knowledge, you don't have anything to back that up do you?
