I've been contacted but 6 senior officers who are expecting in excess of 10,000 protesting fans and wanted to work out where best to place them. So tbh if it was going to be cancelled it would be because there just isn't enough space for all of us.

Nice one marra. Good luck with it all.

I suppose there's another 22 'interested' but don't seem to want to commit for whatever reason.

I don't even know what the protest is for tbh. To get Short out the club he is trying to sell?

It's to ensure fans participation in the negotiations for the sale of the club to one of the list of interested buyers.

N.B. the fans will accept no responsibility if the new owner, they're demanding, is worse than Short.

TBH I find the whole 'just don't go' not good enough for me.

I've been going to SAFC games since I was 10 years old and it's been a massively important part of my life for years (as I'm sure is true of many others on here).

If we were going down due to bad luck or just not quite getting the results I would completely stand by the club. But this has been on the wall for 4 years or so now and IMO is the result of absolute negligence. And sorry but SAFC means too much to me just to drop it because of a useless owner and an apparently clueless manager. I would, personally, rather do everything I can to tell the management at SAFC I'm upset and furious with what they're doing than just not turn up. I'm pretty sure I won't be going back next year but so long as I have a ticket I'm going to tell the club exactly what I think of this shower of shite.

I understand others may be so sick of it they just don't want to go but for me apathy is not the solution to this. We need to tell the club exactly what the issues are.

Articulate impassioned & summing up the dilemnas we are facing. Instinctively lean towards your desire to try & change things rather than those who either care little or worse seek to undermine in the cause of blind loyalty. Sadly though only staying away will change things. 45,000 crowds of which all have paid to attend but 10-15,000 protesting wont affect the running of the club as much as crowds dipping to 30-35,000.

This is the only action that could potentially force any change but people won't do it because they've 'already paid for their ticket'. It would need to drop well below 30k though imo
