The council have just agreed to install average speed cameras on that same stretch of road. Sounds like it's been a bit of a blackspot for a while.

Can we get him to drive up the A19 next?

They have to as it helps the narrative that the accident was caused by a speeding motorist by implication - and ignoring the facts as to who actually caused the accident conveniently.

PR machine in full spin

The radio report earlier 'the prince pulled from a side road onto the road, where motorists regularly whiz past and a collision occurred, thankfully he was uninjured but understandably shaken. '

Some plebs got injured but no one gives a fuck

Guess you've not read the article. The meeting was a already planned. The road has caused 40 accidents since 2012 including deaths.

The meeting is not related to the crash other than it is now in guessing 41 accidents know since 2012, all involving elderly drivers I assuming
40 accidents in 6 years is not a bad rate when you look at how many cars actually use the road. When the railways were closed down in the late 60's, it meant that the only way to get up the coast was via the A149. During summer months there are regularly 15 miles of traffic jams. In the morning heading up the coast, and in the evening coming back again

By all means reduce the speed limit to 50. But how about whacking a compulsory purchase order in & taking out part of the Sandringham Estate to widen the road?

Prince Philip crash road speed 'to be cut'

Within 48hrs the council are having a meeting about reducing the speed of the road there. Just like they would if any ordinary bod had caused an accident there.

Dropping the speed limit and adding average speed cameras along that road was already planned before the accident.
And no I didn't read about it on here

It will be an armoured Range Rover as well I would think, so much heavier.

Wasn't a range rover, it was his freelander 2

Old Phil doesn’t let the grass grow under his feet.

He’s already been out and bought himself a brand new Landy.

Good shout but no chance of it happening with them lot tbh.
