A rediculous comparison as the model relies upon recruitment from the college system which is a completely separate entity. In fact, the college system is the better supported one as the locals have a greater connection with the ‘University’ teams as they are local and never going to move around the country.
The only thing we could realistically take from the model is a salary cap and limiting squad size but I agree it would at least a good start to fair play.
