I find people's fascinations with attendances a bit cringeworthy. Been working in Newcastle too long.
Attendance = success or at least that's what we hope.

The regular sub 12000 didn't help either in the 80sIt doesn't help considering our capacity was 22k for a decade. Longer?
Aye. That was arguably in the top 3 cringeyiest things since they got relegated.Look who's back, I'm sure this time tomorrow there will be a f***ing sad article in the mag fanzine about how Newcastle are above sunderland in this attendance table.
For those posters not bored rigid by attendance threads - those who are, look away now!

Apologies for not being able to list in a table!
So am I, they were down to 5000 at one point and did nothing for over 20 years.I'm stunned it's that high
Nowhere near a decade. Still officially 29000 for the 93/94 season. It doesn't help considering our capacity was 22k for a decade. Longer?
Mags surely? Won nowt since the sixties and fourth in the table

I'm surprised that the teams from Forest down to Ipswich are ahead of Blackburn, Bolton and Pompey. There you go.
That was the rothmans football yearbook figure, which may not have been up to date. The last decentish crowd at Roker looks like 28000 against the mags in October 92. We had 23000 for the Villa game the season after, so who knows what the capacity was for that?I can't remember that. Cheers for confirming though.

That looks like the cut off then. Was a squeeze after that, shame really. The Villa game was a full house.
They have. It was horrific to look at.Don't be so bloody dramatic..
What a truly awful website to read.
Also I thought it was only mags thay cared about attendances?
