I think there are two reasons why he's a popular choice.

1. There's a section of our fans who just want an "up and at 'em" approach, with a touch of the Bobby Saxton's.

2. People think he'll bring SKP with him.
I wouldn't say no whatsoever to Pearson but if he did, i think his mannerisms and persona could wind our fans up like mad. Especially if he hit a bad run.

But that's the only place where he's performed; if you look at his career stats, it's an outlier. Are our circumstances similar enough to Leicester when he took over for it to work?
It’s not the only place he’s performed though. His Watford team were decent. He got them out the relegation zone when they were adrift and then he got sacked with two games to go.

Think SD and CM will be pleased so many cheap and available gadgies have been backed.Special mention to the cowley agent who supposedly was a Lincoln fan,who was up all night writing a tome that Tolstoy would have been proud of.Cheque will be in the post if successful.

And he was sacked after six months.

Looking at his stats, Leicester is the only club at which he's had a full time job with a win rate of more than 36%. Leicester is the outlier, not the typical

He done really well at Watford. They had won one in 15 or something when he took over, were dive bombing out the league 7 points from safety and he won 7 from 20 beating Liverpool in the process.
The owners, who are known to be trigger happy, gave him the bullet and despite their good form and being 3 points above relegation place they didn't win again and got relegated.

Sweet justice of tosspot owner decision.

Perhaps that supposed Lincoln fan was just an actual Lincoln fan who was very grateful to a pair of brothers who were the best thing to happen to his club in nearly forty years. Maybe he was saddened to see the dismissive disrespect shown to what he knows is an outstanding management team.
As the Cowleys aren't getting the job there'll be no cheque for anyone connected to them. There might be a cheque for whoever wrote that appalling, fawning puff piece about Lee Johnson. That's the gruesome reality of our next "first-team coach".
A year from now you'll be observing from afar the success the Cowleys are having at Ipswich or wherever. You might recall for a moment that they were interested in coming here in December, 2020 and we rejected them.

As Phil Smith points out in the Echo, the sporting director role, and his responsibility and the fact he is helping to appoint manager, doesnt fit any of the 3 main candidates.

I reckon might be someone left field.

Or someone that's just been left in a field, stewy will check his cv.

If Johnson gets the job its Parkinson Mk II. Our recruitment will be more of a joke than it already is.

We would deserve everything we would get because we never ever learn.

This fellow's worse than Parkinson. At least Parkinson has some promotions on his c.v.. Lee Johnson has six years of at best mediocrity.
When his name cropped up yesterday I described his possible appointment as like a bowl of cold sick in the face. We'd better all start looking for a cloth.

Nearly 300 votes, 6 jokers wanting Johnson yet its now a full on barricade saying they are optimistic, why didn’t these clown for vote him then?
Italian army reversing cowards on here.
Talk about backtracking and being easily pleased 😂.
Grow some balls ffs and stick to your opinions.
