Am I right in thinking the ps4 only has 8gb of memory? That's what it says on amazon.

My 360 has something like that and I'm always struggling for space.

I'm getting it mixed up surely.

XBox360 had 512mb memory.

Its going to be a canny bit of kit isn't it.

Not bad at all. Another difference between the two is that the new XBone isn't user serviceable so you're stuck with the HD they give you, while the PS4's can be replaced on a whim.

Well, 8gb is 12 times more memory than 512mb.

PS4 uses GDDR5 (I dont even know how they'll make a profit with that in it), as opposed to the much slower DDR3 in the Xbone.

it's not been mentioned, but seeing as how Microsoft users are kicking up such a fuss about it being that way on the XBone, I presume not.

I see Bill Gates has relented about the DRM and 'always on' issues.

You still have to be a spotty virgin to ever consider buying an xBox, but the gap has certainly narrowed.
