Went on the pitch after Swindon in 98 & was in the Wigan end under Mick McCarthy, 1-0 when Stewart scored. Got kicked out for celebrating after 3mins & I was escorted out along the side of the pitch while the match was still going on because the Wigan supporters were running up to the barrier to spit at me.

No, I didnt know him then. Women in hotel rooms, competition to get the knickers off a barmaid first, stinkiest shit, too much marra, we were there for 2 nights, met some Arsenal supporters in a pub and taught them a song about Mr Shearer :)

Nothing like a decent lads weekend away. However a decent result always helps.
What’s on Tour stays on Tour ;)
It’s the memories mate that keep us all going.

Just wondering which pro footy pitches people have been on?

Me: Safc, Roker Park after fa cup 92 chelsea win.

Notts county when we stayed up last day 90s.

Tranmere on last day after promotion under Reid.

Swindon on last day after 2-1 win but pipped to promotion by boro.

Portsmouth, mid 90s, got there ridiculously early (after getting the midnight departure bus from sland) and the groundsman let us have a look including a stroll on the pitch.

Bury away on promotion night, fantastic.
Notts Co when we just avoided drop not so good.
And Wrexham, heartbreaking.

Oh, I forgot, Oldham away late 70s early 80s, "Come and have a go if you think you are hard enough" from the home end before the match, charge from the away end, hilarious, only time I have seen the home support climbing the walls to get out of the ground, dont think it made us hard or anything, it was just very funny

took a pen(scored) at pools at half time when i was 10
played on mk dons( when they used national hockey stadium
watched the stones at that place

Also Plymouth 86 after game when plod led us across to get out of another gate as too many Plymouth waiting outside our end when we beat them 4-2.

Huddersfield when Johnston scored the first of his hat-trick. Kept quiet when it went in but then noticed a load of Sunderland cheering around us, locals not very happy and ended up on the pitch being ushered into the away end.

Edit. Was in the home end because we couldn't get tickets.

Roker Park - won a competition and got to wear a Leyton Orient shirt in the procession that went round the pitch before the final game.

Stadium of Light - took part in a penalty shoot out against a group of scouts. One of them chipped me as I readjusted my shin pad and the entire 20k crowd (Man Utd reserve game) jeered me. My dad said if I saved 10 in a row he'd give me a hundred quid. I did and still haven't seen the money to this day.

Bolivian national stadium - in La Paz. They open the gates every day and you can just wander in for a look around.
