Pierre Ekwah

He's a good squad player compared to what we currently have. He starts ahead of all our current forwards.

I'd like to see us go for Hardie from Plymouth. He's looked good all season for them. Plus 1 more.

Anar he’s a young lad but what an absolute Pansy he is . Bottles so many tackles. Taught from a young age not to do as can come off worse.

His age doesn’t save him cause Clarke is about the same age and he’s brave.

He’s not good enough to be this pirlo type player he sees himself as so needs to toughen up or he’s going nowhere fast
Never wins a tackle and never wins a header, there's no excuse. Get him locked in a room with Bally and John Kay, see what they can do with him.

Will never make it as a prem player unfortunately. Certainly has talent mind but has a heart as a pea.

most football players not only Sunderlands arrive at training at 9ish do a bit of jogging and then do some training work outs and tactics, the may have a bit of lunch and bugger off home for the rest of the day if Dodds cannot work around that he needs deep sixing.
So who does analysis on opposition etc? If one bloke can do everything why do managers bother with assistants and massive back room teams?

I think he means that Dodds can’t do his old coaching job full time as he is currently full time interim head coach

Never seen a player bottle as many 50/50s as he does especially for a big lad too he's got some ability but having someone so soft in the centre of midfield in the Championship makes him a liability.
His lack of awareness and lack of commitment over tentative passenger bullshit is probably why wesr ham binned him
When he had a couple of good games towards the end of last season we were wondering why they let him go for nowt, now we know.

I am a big Ekwah fan and believe that he has a lot of talent but I have been disappointed in his application since coming back from his injury. Mowbray had difficulties motivating him so it's likely that Dodds is barely having any impact. I just hope that the next head coach will be able to get the best out of him.

Only one of those comments, (Southampton) pertains to THIS season. My post clearly says he's played almost every game and...

Must try harder.

Admittedly, though, he did look like a baller for a couple of games at the end of last season and a couple sporadically, this. That proves there's a baller in there but doing it one game in every eight doesn't cut it.

He's proved he's half decent, but yet most of the time he chooses not to be. Get rid for me if the club are serious of progressing.

It’s tough as there does seem to be a decent player in there but he has been so inconsistent.

He does tend to play better when Jobe is pushed up top as I think they have a lot of the same weaknesses and expose each other. They definitely missed Neil yesterday.

For Ekwah to progress I think Jobe needs to be dropped or sent on loan, certainly doesn’t seem likely though

Yep looks like he's a fan to me
As I've said, all but one of those comments are from the end of last season/pre season, this season, when he did look like he had something, briefly.
Other an Southampton, I've struggled to find any massive positives for him, this season. Even the games he's scored in, the aforementioned aside, he's been largely ordinary.
