I'll admit I thought Ekwah was the real deal at one point, he was so calm and seemed to suit our style perfectly.

His form has suffered the worst with our collapse though. There is 'a player in there' but the last few months have shown we need more options so we aren't relying on him and Neil so much.

If there is a ‘player on there’ then why should we not be relying on him?

At some point we need those 'players in there ' to come out and play, every week

Ekwah
Jobe
Auchiche
Ba
Mundle
Pembele

Etc... either step up or be replaced

He's shown this season that he's not got the consistency yet. I'd like to see us hang on to him though as he's still young and can improve.

I agree with that, one good performance every now and then from those listed is not enough.

Comes to something when we miss a player based on work rate more than owt else. But I think back to WBA away last season and he absolutely tormented them to the point they just resorted to fouling him all the time.

Reckon he'll be a target for us in the summer mesel.

I hope not. He'd just be another inconsistent squad player with potential, who doesn't really effect games and doesn't have a genuine position. We've got loads of them already

I agree, I'd like him back, creates a lot of space for others to benefit from. We should go for Michut as well.

Look back at that midweek game at Reading last year. That was a team who could have achieved so much if it had stayed together. Amad was a huge part in that of course, but we played attractive free flowing football. Oh how the wheels have come off.

Michut is another one. Too inconsistent and rarely effected the game

We need better than geldhart , michut, ekwah etc... if we're to get promoted. They are all mid table championship players
 
He's not that good. Shows some ability sometimes, but bar the tail end of last season he's not really been much good for us during his time here.

I respectfully disagree mate. We don't have any forward player who has the work rate Gelly does. I'm not saying he's the answer to our problems, but he's better than Hemir and Burstow by a country mile.

He's a player with more potential then the others mind. I don't know like I've said it comes to something when we just miss his work rate alone. Work rate is something missing from Jobes game.

I like geldhart and I agree he's better than what be have and is a grafter but I think we need to aim higher if we want to go up next season. I think geldharts career ceiling will be top half championship..

We need to sign players who will be able to hack the premier league

He's a good lad I just think we need to aim higher

We've got Ballard, Hume, alese, Patterson, Neil and Clarke who could probably hack a season in the premier league. Possibly

We need to add to that list. We need players to come in and instantly be first 11 . Instantly be considerably better than what we've got

Work rate should be a given. It’s the attributes on top of that which make a player.
 
He doesn't look like he's kicked on at all in the time we've had him. To be fair you could say that about a fair few of the signings we have made, which doesn't speak well of a model thats sole aim is to develop and improve players to sell on. If they don't come in ready from the off like the likes of Ballard, then we don't seem to be able to anything to bring on the flaws in their game.
