What bread we talking here? The humble stottie?Enjoy young Ross.will be like the first hit of smack of pease pudding so have fun in the first hit
You’re right. As always when it comes to all exotic food. I made a tuna, pepperoni and pineapple pizza on a flat base the other week. Totally tits is the only way to describe it.Peach is nice young Lefty but it needs to know it’s place. Not this time. Over used and it become a liability in the serious food world
Have you ever considered opening a local cafe or take away? Seems you have your ear to the ground when it comes to what is in and also out in regards to local pallets.Enjoy young Ross.will be like the first hit of smack of pease pudding so have fun in the first hit
You dirty bastardHad a savory dip in Silky today. Im still full from it

Unfortunately young Lefty, it’ll be a few years before the people of Sunderland enjoy my taste sensations with an open mind

Filthy bastard.Absolutely unreal.
It's not available everywhere, I have to import the yellow split peas, can't even get big green ones, only the dried petits pois (doesn't taste the same with those) where I live in France. Always fetch loads back when I visit. It's available everywhere the yellow split peas are if you make it yourself. I made my budget version on Tuesday night. Peas in pan with a stock cube. Boil till soft then quick whizz with the stick blender. Literally a 2 ingredient recipe. At Christmas I'll do the posh version with stock from a roast gammon and an onion and carrot hoyed in with the peas. The basic one is still as good as shop bought.
The large savoury dips from "Deli-dips" in Silky are humungous - stand up after eating one, and your ankles will snapHad a savory dip in Silky today. Im still full from it
I was really referring to in the UK. Bad luck. Have you access to any Asian grocers. Some of the dhal pulses they sell are basically yellow split peas. It's not available everywhere, I have to import the yellow split peas, can't even get big green ones, only the dried petits pois (doesn't taste the same with those) where I live in France. I dream of ham and pease pudding in a stottie or a proper saveloy dip from places like Ibbitson's (no mustard - that's just not right).
I'd make some now and a stottie to eat it with but haven't been able to get back for supplies this year. Lock down!
Just had this. Tremendous.Sausage, bacon and pease pud sarnie from hendos for me tomorrow morning.
