Never got a pay rise at any point at my last job, didn't even know it was a thing.

Moved jobs, 21% pay rise.

Been here for 4 years almost, never had a pay rise. But that will have to change soon, otherwise i'll be off. More responsibility, more work and new qualifications means i should get a significant rise (hopefully)

Likely nowt. Personal allowance going up to cover the council tax rise.

Band A property in my LA goes up by about £50-£55.

Personal allowance gives me an extra £101 a year, CT rise wipes half of that out right away. Add on the 1% pay rise that is less than inflation and that’s a real-terms pay cut

No announcement but if rumours are to be believed a 3 year deal of 3%/2%/1% but sacrificing a days annual leave.

It was in the Guardian as a leak last week or week before. Unions have said that this was discussed but no formal offer and they would reject if it was. NHS staff offered 6.5% pay rise over three years if they forfeit day's holiday

Give up a days leave now means they know they can get away with doing this and more in the future

Just take the equivalent days pay % and remove that from the offer would be the sensible approach in getting agreement. Unison seem to suggest it was a DoH leak

It depends on the position in pay band. If mid way through the financial side of it is better as pay rise plus increment. Top of the band is rubbish as only pay rise which is still below the rate of inflation

1% backdated to last August. First rise in 3 years, but a load of poor sods in the redundancy pool, no doubt to pay for it.

Best "pay rise" I ever got was being knocked down to a 35 hour week with no pay loss.

fuck nahs i left my job in december (what a tool) on the plus side getting abit of a salary jump when i start my new job next month

I'm quite suprised we getting 3%, was expecting 1-2..... to be fair though if year after year you are not getting a pay rise then basically you are getting a pay cut each year due to inflation increasing the cost of goods year on year
