Patrick Roberts to Birmingham compendium


He joined us at the lowest point in the history of this great club, and he has been instrumental in so many of the great memories in recent years.

He helped a jaded fanbase rediscover their love of the game by bringing a trickery and mazy running we’d not seen for many years.

Frustrating at times, but a player many other fan bases cast an envious eye at.

The partnership with Amad, two promotions, that goal at Hillsborough, and a game changing cameo against Sheff Utd is to help us back.

It’s people like Robert’s who need the standing ovations (not the hendersons of this world - who should get the polite clap beforehand). And all the central characters from the play off team

Actually achieved something with us and played a pivotal role in our return.

The lads that are still here need that respect too even if they are second string / out of favour. Huge influence on our club the lot of them.
 
Massive talent and loved watching him especially in the Mowbray/Amad season.

If he had the end product to go with some of his approach work he would never have played for us.....would be a top 6 prem league player his entire career.
