Patrick Roberts to Birmingham compendium

It’s getting to the point where it’s becoming too hard to overlook with him. I can’t get my head around how he almost never produces end product, I’ll always love him for the mayenda assist but he must get one final ball right every 50 attempts and I’m barely exaggerating.
Exactly my feelings too, he’s exhausting to watch as we just know his final ball or finishing is just so lacking, we see this game after game after game.

Second half in particular he saw a lot of the ball and I was willing him to do something decent with it. Never happened.
Penalty aside that was dreadful.
Maybe worse than watching a shit player floundering out of his depth is watching someone with his obvious ability just fuck up over and over again. So frustrating.

At one point he shrugged off three players then squared the ball a simple ten yard pass … to no-one. I’ve had it with him now.

In the stadium it seemed loads couldn't wait to have a go at him as soon as he got the ball, almost willing him to lose it, pathetic.

Thought he went on some brilliant runs and looked our best player. End product is of course the problem but tonight he also pulled some nice balls back across the box and could feel aggrieved no one was on the end of them.
