Pathetic and embarrassing chanting

I can't see many people in the street making the distinction between the two. He'll be branded a nonce regardless.

Who?! Who does it piss off?!

I don't recall carrying on speaking to you, so it's actually YOU going on about it and apparently having a thing about "the last word" as you did with another poster!
At no point have I defended anyone for supporting the IRA. Don't be dense. What I don't get is why some of our fans feel the need to continue being obsessed with it or indeed him. It's pathetic.
As an ex Police Officer, who up untill 2 years was part of Merseyside Polices Sigma team ( sexual offences ) I can assure you any degree of sexual assault inflicted on ANY minor is deemed now as a form of peadaphilia
Penetration does NOT have to be an issue. Get your facts right !!

Pretty sure that's what I said in my opening post there O.B.

Generally speaking, people accept claims of expertise more readily when you can correctly spell the thing you are talking about.

You should have just said nonce then. That is the much broader term and a banner that AJ's crime would fit under.

If the issue of a minor spelling error is the best you can come up with, then that's very sad of you indeed.

First match I've been able to get to since March 2019. Absolutely loved it. I can't remember the last time I saw us win in person, and win so convincingly.

However, a contingent of our traveling fans were nothing short of embarrassing with their choice of chants.
The occasional "Fuck the IRA" chant was utterly ridiculous considering
1) James McClean wasn't even playing he wasn't even on the bench
2) 1996 was the last action of the IRA in this country. most of the idiots chanting this probably weren't even born then, and if they were they should know better.
3) Get the fuck over it. He hasn't played for us for years

The even more ludicrous chant was
"Sunderland boys were on a bender. Charlie Wyke is a sex offender".
Let's break that down shall we?
Sunderland boys on a bender sounds more like a homoerotic gangbang rather than a night on the booze, but of course not many things conveniently rhyme with sex offender and I doubt the inventor of the chant could manage to rhyme nonce.
Charlie Wyke is a sex offender - Wow. I mean, really? The bloke scored an absolute hat-full last season (shame he only managed 9 in the previous 2 seasons). An opportunity came up for him to sign a 3 year deal and he took it.
He followed the money. Like many of us would. You get next to nowt for loyalty these days. We need to stop being so f***ing precious about things.
Wyke didn't even play last night so what was the point?

We had an actual sex offender playing for Sunderland. A real one. A paedophile. Why do some of our lot think it's fine to throw that kind of slur around at anyone else? Particularly players who didn't leave on bad terms, they just left.

A great game with some excellent football from us, tainted by some of our lot who are frankly making themselves look as thick as a submarine door. I'd like to think that's not the case. We're better than this. Aren't we?
I won't even bother mentioning the morons who boo'd the taking the knee (for all of 3 seconds of it). I suspect if there's a venn diagram of the people who did that and the idiotic chants it would be a perfect circle.
Cretinous chants

...which just goes to show that you don't need to be educated to become a policeman.

Well to be honest of all the folk on here who would find some degree of criticism Iam not in the least bit surprised at you.
The lover of the previous regime...lol grow up.

Incidentally, what part of that last comment are you disputing ?

Too much time on your hands marra

Like a lot of clubs we have an element of slackjawed fuckwits who follow us. They'll never amount to anything meaningful in their sad insular lives. The same types will boo the knee and be telling everyone to keep politics out of football despite singing about the IRA.
Wow!
Pissed up lads n lasses really offend you dont they?
Its a bit hypocritical that you use abuse to fight what you deem as abuse.
My career has been very good, money in the bank, debt free etc, but how can this be, when I sometimes join in with these chants after I have a had a few?

Calm down have a beer maybe go throw it around, you have decided these types of people come to nothing in life? Without knowing them? Maybe they have achieved more than you? How do you know not.

Basically doing the same as them to get your argument across.

Three parts, actually.

Your ability to follow the conversation. Whether or not there was penetration wasn't even being discussed before you jumped in to "correct" us about it.
Your ability to even spell the word paedophilia.
Your definition of the word paedophilia.

Ah so basically you exhibit your contempt for my previous occupation by picking on minor grammar and spelling mistakes.
The sign of a truly pathetic individual.

Why? It's pretty twatish behaviour, especially during half time when people are trying to actually get a beer or food or go for a piss. You want to make a mess? Do it outside away from everyone else.

If we'd just won the league or a trophy or something and it was absolutely bouncing then high spirits get the better of loads of people, but hoying a pint around at half time in a cup game against Wigan or something similar is just daft.
