Parking near Anfield

This board is funny sometimes. Complain about a SAFC manager or a performance and you're accused of being a Mag.

Need parking advice for a Newcastle away match where you're going into the away end with your son, who allegedly supports the opposition, with tickets you've wangled, then not wangled, then there is a Mag supporting uncle who was going to the match then seems to have disappeared because a funeral is taking place in the same city on the day of the Mag away match - "what you doing that for mate".

"most of the streets are residents only but each of those streets on the map has 2+ bays for visitor"

It isn't 1980.

Perhaps if the OP has a high spec car that is stolen and shipped but car crime in Liverpool is relatively low as the criminals have bigger fish to fry.
Now now let's not stereotype....

Fuck that, i was offered a corporate ticket with a company i was working with years ago at the shit tip, all my drink and food included, even a hotel thrown in (even though i was living in Sunderland at the time), it was a no brainer, shove it up yer arse

Putting aside the fact that you allowed your young'un to support Liverpool and you should have had a visit from Social Services I think it's a great idea. You get to stand in the middle of the gravy stained, great unwashed and listen at first hand to their delusional, self entitled shite. You get to come back and tell your mates how you nearly pissed yourself every time the scousers scored and reality kicked in about the deficiencies of Beheadie Howe.

But on a general note you get to see a game of football. Before I retired I travelled a lot for work and where possible would always try and go to a game near where I was staying. Even now, if I'm on holiday I'll try and take in a game and in this country if I'm on a bus or train and see a game going on I find myself turning my head to see the play progress.

Have a great time mate and you and your young'un try not to be obviously enjoying it too much

Same here. Npower had a box and I was invited for a freebie, which I (un)politely declined

The mag end!? Dear me. There is not a chance I'd do that. What if on the off chance they win? Or score?

It’ll be good fun when I’m watching l it from my sitting room or from a sunderland end, being in their end is unforgivable and completely wrong in all ways. Plus it’ll f***ing stink
I'd quite happily stand with the daft fuckers as long as they get trounced. I stood in the gallowgate in the play off semi as a daft 19 year old.
