Is it me or are our fast bowlers a yard slower than last year ??
speed guns get doctored at home to make it look like the bowlers are quicker than they are, plus playing on slower wickets
Finn doesnt bowl low 90s for example but more high 80s

really ? Surely that can't be true
Of course it isn't. It's just another chance for essex boy to have a pathetic dig at the England cricket team.really ? Surely that can't be true

And on another note Tremlett must be the least intimidating 6ft 8" bowler I've seen. Not really much point being that tall if you're not particularly aggressive and don't bowl with great pace. I'm disappointed he was given a start ahead of Finn.
Top delivery from Jimmy and a good catch from Prior, tail end open now.

By sub, do you mean the Indian sub-continent?
Where the game isn't being played?![]()

I'd say Tait is probably close to, if not at the 100mph when he's at his absolute fastest although the 96mph recorded for Harris is intriguing I'll admit. You must be logged on to see external links
Although I dont agree fully with EB about doctered speed guns.
Speen guns can be altered depending on where you set them up. Eg from the bowlers arm? Middle of wicket? End of wicket. Obviously the closer you set them up to the bowlers release the quicker its going to be.

To be fair Harris is deceptively quick. I don't think it's inaccurate that he gets clocked at 90mph on a regular basis. But yeah, 96mph seems a bit far fetched.'intriguing'
Im just wondering where you been for the last few years. Ashes 09 every tom dick and harry was being clocked at 90mph from both teams![]()
