Some on here seem to think that the level of support can influence the outcome of our games and the more you support them, the better they will be. If ever that theory was blown apart, it was yesterday.

I can see your point but if 47k Sunderland fans attended every game and to a man defiantly sang in support of the players non stop, whilst ridiculing and belittling the opposition are you saying it would make no difference at all?
