so with the mess this club is in, quite possibly little money to spend you would prefer a rookie manager, remember the 'losing mentality' in some of the players now...we need someone who can inspire confidence who knows exactly what he is going to want, not more 'experiments'.

We appoint some uninspiring bore.

To me we might as well take a punt on Phillips now instead of one of the tried and tested failures out there, or this sweatie who has done precious little in the English game at all. Phillips knows this league, knows the Premier League, and knows a whole host of people in the English game. If he fails so be it, but what a ride it'll be. At least he'll unite an already fractured fanbase behind him. And just imagine how awesome it would be if he did get us going.
