Learning curve, must pull our weight this time. What were our excuses last season then? Luton, Barnsley and Charlton finished higher than us.
Exactly, unacceptable, must outspend and outplay them.Underestimate them at your peril mate. Sure Southend and Fleetwood will be fancying wins against us again.
Us, Ipswich and Portsmouth. No excuses this season eh?
Exactly, unacceptable, must outspend and outplay them.
Agree its not simple, but we bounced back from our first season in the third at the first attempt. Maybe we should have changed manager!I see where your coming from, it's just not as simple as that.
We missed out with the last kick of the season. We could have changed manager and finished 7th just as easilyAgree its not simple, but we bounced back from our first season in the third at the first attempt. Maybe we should have changed manager!
The richest club should always be promoted.Means fuck all. No devine right to do anything.
Ok but Bolton have to get themselves together and should have less resources than the other 3 next season.Ipswich and Portsmouth bigger than Bolton?
Interesting theory.
Size of club doesn't matter but budget does, there's no excuse because for the second season in a row we'll have considerably higher wage and transfer budgets than everyone else, we also don't have a load of upheaval this summer and have a decent base to build from as our side last season obviously wasn't dreadful. Ross is quite fortunate he's getting this chance and nothing less than automatic promotion will do. The owners target of 100 points seems fair enough.
Pompey are no bigger than Bolton
True I'm afraid
Well they aren't !
Exactly, unacceptable, must outspend and outplay them.
Agreed. Ross walked into a shit show last summer, that's why I was against getting rid. However if we show no signs of learning any lessons (recruitment and tactics) then I think fans could turn on him quite quickly. No excuses from me. Last season was a bit of a jolly up going to new grounds and stuff. We need to do the business this year.Size of club doesn't matter but budget does, there's no excuse because for the second season in a row we'll have considerably higher wage and transfer budgets than everyone else, we also don't have a load of upheaval this summer and have a decent base to build from as our side last season obviously wasn't dreadful.
