Nah, that was Tommy Miller, never saw him mind, we signed him he scored against the Boro, and then vanished, some say he got lost on in the smog and hasn't been seen in person in years.Try telling people who claim Jeff Whitley as being one of the worst central midfielders they've ever seen that.
If we want promoting we should be looking to improve on him. He's not the only reason we are a near playoffs/just outside team but he's certainly part of it. The rest of our defenders look good enough to be up near the top, be nice if we had fullbacks who stayed fit mind
He's not that good. It's just people giving their opinions. I can see both sides of the argument. I think if we really want to push on he's one we have to replace
He's pretty average
Drifts towards the ball every time, leaving the person he's marking. At one point today he was on the left wing trying to tackle their right winger, ended up in no man's land, the ball got through, we were sitting ducks. He causes problems for himself and the team when he goes walkabout.
Tbf he's got licence to do that. That's not his fault, it's how Mowbray wants him to playAt one point today he was on the left wing trying to tackle their right winger, ended up in no man's land, the ball got through, we were sitting ducks. He causes problems for himself and the team when he goes walkabout.
Players being class with both feet is pretty irrelevant to be honest, Clarke and Roberts both can and do cross with both feet. There's bigger issues. He's not that good.
Any other player, who had given away as many goals, would have been binned ages ago.
An absolute liability at centre half. How Mowbray as an ex centre half himself doesn't see this is ridiculous.
The coaching towards Clarke, Roberts and Ekwah, regarding kicking a ball with both feet, is again ridiculous.
You can’t knock his passing ability from the position, not my highest priority in a centre back though.
I think he is better than he gets credit for in open play, but is at liability defending set pieces. He just can’t keep his hands to himself and, what’s worst, he repeatedly gives the referee a penalty decision to make. Granted they’re rarely given, but the question is always there. It was a baffling decision to have him marking Cooper today
Edit* Apart from that 92nd minute free kick![]()
If there were then they'd be playing.I don't think O'Nien is up to the job of what we're asking him to do. If there are other players in the squad who are more capable in that position then I'd like to see them get a run out.
Just like Ballard went walk about for the goal, made a rash challenge again and we concede. Nobody seems to mention that though. At one point today he was on the left wing trying to tackle their right winger, ended up in no man's land, the ball got through, we were sitting ducks. Very good and fair postWe’ve got the 5th best defensive record in the league. It’s being turned into a much bigger issue than it really is.
The ease at which the cross was put in was incredibleHe loses the man for their goal.
How many goals have Norwich shipped when big Danny playing ?Lovely lad but he'll never be a centre half, shoulve kept big Danny

That'll be O'Nien's faultThought ballard was worse today tbh
Think 5 goals in other two ganes shipped ?Hasn't big Danny only played three matches for them ?, starting wise..kept a clean sheet in one.
