One Hit Wonders At The BBC

The only just dead Frank Farian's, other, other project.

At least this one played and sang, Robin McCauley was one of the vocalists and the band included various totos.
😁
That`s right - saw Robin McAuley on the Schenkerfest Tour a few years back which featured four singers (Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet and Dougie White) from Michael Schenker`s past. McAuley was outstanding - easily the best of the four.

That was on the TOTP episode from 1978 that they showed on Friday night. 'A millstone in the history of pop music' as Sounds used to describe the song. One of those strange episodes where you also had The Adverts 'No Time To Be 21', Sweet minus the glam make up, Smokie gurning at the cameras at every opportunity and the brilliant one offs Althea & Donna.
Althea and Donna. Uptown Top Rankin...oh

A lad brought his brothers record collection into the shop cos his brother sadly passed. Mint condition but one (out of many) was a Sweet album not so glam looking.

We have made over a thousand pounds selling his vinyl since beginning of January. Eclectic taste but some great stuff.
😆 Aye this thread was 3 programs in 1
Puzzled me for a while tho 🤪
