Their refusal to play Pakistan is unreal tbh. It's like a form of apartheid or something. No bilateral series, not traveling to Pakistan, not letting any Pakistan players play in the IPL etc. Don't know how they get away with it or don't get sanctioned/fined, well I do, it's all about the
The big question in why? Many will state the Mumbai terror attacks and the Pakistani's alleged involvement. But this is a bit of a misnomer. Do the USofA still do business with the Saudi's? Because they were 'allegedly' behind the twin tower attacks. And if you look into the actual commerce between India/Pakistan, it's mostly business as usual, so why the animosity in the cricket?
There's not many proper rivalries in cricket and they should be nurtured and encouraged for the sake of the game. Us and the Aussies is the obvious biggie but growing up, Pakistan India was just as big in our household. I can remember proper old fashioned hard cricket. Likes of Sachin/Ganguly/Dravid Vs Inzy/Waqar/Wasim. Brilliant to watch and only good for the game. Obviously there was a bit of needle but the players themselves recognised the importance of each other and played like gents (most of the time lol).
But I am looking forward to this WC, hoping to see Us smash everyone all over, Paks to do well and hopefully India fall flat on their faces. Just like when Pakistan basically slapped them all over and won by 10 wickets and effectively knocked them out in the last T20 WC.
I really can't stand Indian cricket ATM, just like their right wing nutter leader, most of their cricket fans, cricket board, twat of a captain, their insistence that their match fixed T20 league is the pinnacle of the sport etc. Apart from that their alright I suppose

I don't even know what my original point was going to be.... something along the lines of the BCCI are ***** and they will do everything in their power to mess with the scheduling, pitches etc to try and do well. We're little over a month to go and they're still fu*king about with venues and fixtures. Like they didn't know about these religious festivals and dates beforehand... Pull the other one. Must think the rest of us are mugs.

Yeah they do. Sikander Raza was born and raised in Pakistan but moved to Zimbabwe as a 16 year old and he gets an IPL gig.
