You get a once in a lifetime chance to manage your hometown club, you know most new managers get less than 18 months in any job, you basically have nothing to lose.... so you play not to lose every game, you play 5 in defence against one of the worst teams in premier league history, you cant even use the excuse of home fans getting on the players backs. He might as well of tried to be a poor mans Keegan with attacking footy. Some of the media have realised they cant defend him. Does he even care if he gets the sack, nice few million pay off and always going to be one final pay day after Newcastle sack him.

The Chronicle is terrible.

That article is on a par with me saying that 3 years ago I nearly bought a brand new Aston Martin. I mean, one was on my radar. I looked at them in a showroom, I did a lot of reading about them in car magazines, even mentioned to the wife that I liked them. I could see that it was a good car and I wanted one.

I mean I didnt test drive one, make an offer for one and ultimately didnt even buy one. But I almost had an Aston Martin. Thats how much of a car expert I am
