Classic Bruce "I'll never walk away from a challenge."
He left Sheffield Utd, sacked at Huddersfield, left Wigan (after 2 months) left Crystal Palace (after 3 months), left Birmingham, left Wigan, sacked at the mighty Sunderland, left Hull, sacked by Villa, left Sheffield Wed and still at Newcastle.

While the mags are a joke for the way they blindly love Benitez, I can’t blame them for not taking to Bruce. He’s never been a great manager and will always move the goalposts to suit his own agenda.

What doesn’t sit right is that they go on about Bobby Robson cos he was one of them, what a great guy, put statues up, ghost photos approving of Bonny lads etc. making out that all geordies stick together then with Bruce just cos he’s a poor manager they’re absolutely tearing him to shreds when he’s also one of their own. Mind when he chokes on his last pasty they might re write history and whack another statue up.

He manages Sheff Utd then later goes to Sheff Wed,
Birmingham then Villa
us then the mugs
Has he ever sat back and wondered why he’s been up against it from day 1 at certain clubs,or is he being a bit cute .
Hes not as daft as he looks. Taking those jobs means he’s halfway to his payoff before his belly has even crossed the managers office threshold.

The most hated NUFC manager ever and by a long way too. He was never welcome from day 1 and a utterly useless manager and wanker of a human being too. The fact not a single set of fans from the clubs he’s managed over 22 years has a good word for him says it all.
Gordon Lee was despised by Nufc fans, as was Jack Charlton.

Oh I thought we only called him that at the end. I never heard anyone call him that tbh. I used to drink in the Fort and before the match it was a mixture of laughs and seriousness. No one in my company ever mentioned him being a Jawdee, ever. There was a group of about fifteen of us sat together from Durham, Kettering, Hartlepool and Tyneside.
He was slagged off but not for being a Skunk. It wasn’t mentioned.

That’s because for the overwhelming majority of people they couldn’t give a flying fuck where you were born, who you have managed etc. It’s about the job you do once in the job, and to be universally dislike by the fans of almost every club he’s been at tells you something. He’s one of the problems with football. Career made out of doing the square root of fuck all. Lots of managers like him on the merry ground. And once he eventually gets the sack we will no doubt get another one.

😂 despite floundering in league 1 I can still feel pity for the mags. I don’t think I could wish Steve Bruce on anyone. The bloke is just a mess. What is he on about today man? Which professional self respecting manager comes out and says the shite he’s come out with today. What an utter fraud he is. I hope Alex Bruce is trolling them on Twitter like he used to do to us whilst his pals in the media talk him up. it just reignites the hatred I had for the fat fucker when he left here and did the media rounds spouting his revisionist history of his time here. Kernt

Aye but he has found his spiritual home now thank fuck

He's such a plum.
He's also conveniently overeating Saint Maximum. The lad has some skill no doubt and would put in a game changing performance every five games at a bigger club. But he's not that amazing really.
He loves an excuse does Bruce - hope to God fat Ashley believes all his bollocks!

After seeing the last good few games, i cant honeslty blame them for not liking him either tbf. Horrifically defensive, boring shite football, and have you noticed when they go one down they suddenlynstsrt to actually get out their own half, so frustrating.

I never wanted him at Sunderland not cos he was a mag but because I never thought he was very good. Keane pipped him to the Championship despite brum having a 5 game head start and a settled squad. I was gutted when we effectively chose him as Keane’s replacement as it felt like a backwards step. He had the best chance of any SAFC manager in terms of resources in my lifetime and the best he could manage was a flukey 10th.
