Where is Saudi Arabia on your flat-earth map? Below the waterline, along with your morality?
Requote from another thread I posted earlier.
"It may help you to understand our viewpoint, if you firstly erase from your mind that we are jealous.
WE ARE NOT JEALOUS.
We have our own wealthy benefactor, who, whilst not as wealthy as yours, easily has the wherewithal to finance our passage from League 1 back to the top flight.
Once there, he is comfortably wealthy enough to sustain our club in those surroundings.
At that point, we as supporters, will not have to scratch around for weasely examples of everyone else's links to murderous regimes to justify our ownership and management.
I don't care.It will make your life much less stressful to simply accept that the rest of the Football world is forever going to question your clubs morals and ethics, and treat with disdain any victories and trophies you may collect on your sordid journey".
If a bunch of murderers had bought SAFC, my season card would be cut into pieces and sent back to the club.Of course I understand the outrage and I would hazard a guess that a small portion of those with that outrage will have no other agenda and will believe their morals are nailed tight shut.
But most people's morals are subjective, as I mentioned many times.
I also mentioned that, had this been the other way around and sunderland or another club outside of the elite got taken over, the majority of fans from those clubs would still be following their club and still be massively excited at the potential of it.
If you want to argue that from your own personal stance then fair enough. I am doing it from mine and my honest opinion.
I will maintain it comes down to a lot of jealousy among football fans.
So you're saying the Newcastle owner gave the orders. Is this correct?
That all depends on what you see as ambition.Ne ambition though, not a good sign for you moving forward
Yeah and Saudi Arabia didn't buy Newcastle. And Qatar didn't buy PSG."The UAE" didn't buy Man City
PIF owns Newcastle. It is a sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia.
All of the people who sit on the board of PIF are Saudi government ministers. The head of PIF is the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia.
The obvious interpretation and the previous legal advice give to the PL was that the Saudi state and PIF are not separate entities. But the PL have now stated they have been given legal assurances that they are separate, without explaining what that means or showing the evidence. The whole thing stinks.
You comment a lot on here, but are you keeping up with what is going on?
Very long but comprehensive account of the take over and myths. You must be logged on to see media items
I've never questioned this stuff. I actually took it that the owner of Newcastle was directly responsible for the atrocities. I thought he gave the orders based on what was said on here.
I am asking f this is the case.
You're 100% sure on this, are you?
I don't know. I'm asking questions.
There should be some push back on the premier league for allowing the lie that PIF is separate from SA to go unchallenged. Stavely is very comfortable perpetuating that lie.Muhammad Bin Salman in the head of PIF, which owns 80% of Newcastle. I'd suggest getting your head out of your arse long enough to pick up some basic facts.
The US will protect the Saudis like we will. Money buys a lot of so-called friends. If you look at the correlation between 9/11 and Northwoods it's frightening. This will come out.
Been saying for a while now. Biden ain't finished with the Saudis.
Well find out soon enough marra.I personally think he’s demonstrated he’s got a massive set on a number of occasions.
I think he’ll say something.
Aye but some numpty on a football forum says otherwiseThe CIA are.
It’s not that, it’s the fact he’s achieved very little and hasn’t been able to sort a good defence out. With Derby he signed a lot of players and went from 6th to 6th and didn’t do too much with ChelseaLampbard isn't coming to sign the likes of Jeff Hendricks.....excellent signal to the current plodders that they won't be needed next year.
Its a great watch, it literally addresses 90% of the copy and paste flimsy defences weve seen on here and elsewhere. I also enjoyed the part about his own club Hull City and how horrendous their ownership has been, like many other clubs up and down the leagues.Very long but comprehensive account of the take over and myths.
So are the Premier League, they're not going to change that stance because it allows all that money pour into the league. There should be some push back on the premier league for allowing the lie that PIF is separate from SA to go unchallenged. Stavely is very comfortable perpetuating that lie.
And there my friend is the nail in your clubs coffin lid.I don't care.
I've stated time and again that my focus is on hopefully getting entertained and having a crack at the big boys now that we're a plastic club.
Agreed , 2 wrongs dont make a rightSo are the Premier League.
I think the trouble with setting that precedent is the scrutiny that the other owners will come under.Agreed , 2 wrongs dont make a right
