New York Times pffftt.....they're just f***ing jealous.😏
"And there are others still — the ones in the thobes, the ones with the Saudi flag in their social media avatars, the ones who have issued scrawls of abuse to Khashoggi’s widow for daring to challenge the morality of the takeover — who are perfectly happy to embrace it, to do precisely what the Saudis want them to do."

Tariq Panja, also from NYT, hates the mags.

Bollocks if he sold to someone who wasn't loaded you'd have kicked off.
You are welcome to think this but you'd be 100% wrong.
100% fact and you know it.

Nope, not a fact and I do know it...you do not.
You'd have also blamed him for selling to wrong person.
Absolutely not.
I never wanted Ashley out in the first place as an owner but of late I did say he;'d be better off selling up as his tenure has became far too toxic with the hatred of him gaining traction.
I do not dislike the man and would happily have him back without the toxicity because I know he'd have tried a bit harder of late after he did do earlier on before his fatal mistake of appointing what he thought was a return of a messiah.

But, you think how it suits. I'm ok with it. I just thought I'd let you know.

The local press pack haven’t finished spunking their duds to give the moral implications of this takeover a moment’s consideration, a cursory reference or two aside. They’re all mags and they love it.
They are the Regimes major assets to facilitate the Sportswashing so will no doubt be pandered to by Staveley and the board in order to keep the rhetoric at full tilt
Vichy Mags - fully on board with their souls well and truly sold

Apologies - I never said meant their own league. They are only interested in big games. But generally they love football.
@gipetto - this reminded me of a story when I was in Abu Dhabi in Dec 2018. By chance the world club championships were on, but officially they were sold out. I had someone on my course from the UAE equivalent of PIF who after the semi final game between Real Madrid and Kashima Antlers that he had six tickets but didn't go as was only interested in the final. So whilst they are big on football in the middle east, they are only really interested in high profile games and players. Likewise when I goto Dubai I often watch Al Wasl. I have seen opposition fans bused in just to create an atmosphere.

So you're saying the Newcastle owner gave the orders. Is this correct?
PIF owns Newcastle. It is a sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia.

All of the people who sit on the board of PIF are Saudi government ministers. The head of PIF is the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia.

The obvious interpretation and the previous legal advice give to the PL was that the Saudi state and PIF are not separate entities. But the PL have now stated they have been given legal assurances that they are separate, without explaining what that means or showing the evidence. The whole thing stinks.

You comment a lot on here, but are you keeping up with what is going on?

I've never questioned this stuff. I actually took it that the owner of Newcastle was directly responsible for the atrocities. I thought he gave the orders based on what was said on here.
I am asking f this is the case.
Yes, he ordered the murder of the journalist and chartered the planes to fly the 12 people to the Turkish embassy, sorry 15 assasins
You're 100% sure on this, are you?
I don't know. I'm asking questions.

Here go with the same shite you post in flat earth thread. I'll say yes then you'll dismiss it as never happened because no one can prove news is right then it goes round and round in circles.
