Ahh yes, I remember that douche@underwaterwubbleduck
Think that was it
Yet still waited until you were allegedly named the world's richest club? I'm sure it's pure coincidenceAnd I haven't had unlimited ammunition to be a 'WUM' during the last 4 years?
I'm not sure that's likely to happen. Maybe some but there'll be plenty willing to take the premium when being paid in blood dollars. Will be hilarious if players start turning them down![]()
Maybe you're correct but I have a feeling the Khashoggi murder is how they are framed along with other crimes. This one feels quite a bit worse.I'm not going for whataboutery here, but would Kane have turned down Man City? And Salah was quite happy playing for Abramovich (who's funded the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians). I'm sure there are players who couldn't stomach playing for a team owned by the Saudis, but there are plenty more who could. The PL is morally bankrupt, our takeover is just the last in the latest of takeovers by horrible people.

I don't think Newcastle fans are giddy at the thought of being owned by murderers, if Ashley had sold us to Shipman for £30 and a blowy we'd not be happy. I think Newcastle fans are excited to be shot of Ashley and excited at what untold wealth could mean for the club. That the wealth comes with a big f***ing asterisk over it has been the topic of endless conversations for years now. All but a couple of fans I've spoken to, and heard on the matter are at worst conflicted, at best done with the whole thing.Let's not muddy the waters here. I havent shifted at all. Your support is celebrating being taken over by a murderous regime because of its wealth. Its not complicated this. And dont intentionally misconstrue my words.
The talk is Rangnick and steady improvement rather than a huge splurge. The choice of new manager will be telling of the direction they are going in.
If it is an investment your arguments are valid and most of these famous billions are tied up in investments already to the extent they had to borrow 15bn to buy stocks in 2020. If the manager is not Mbappesque then they will tart it up and sell it on, as they have it very cheap, in around 5 years. Mags will deny this but they are typically not long term investors and are already out of Disney et. al. from 2020.
On the other hand if the new manager is top drawer then they will splash the cash and try and be as big as PSG/City.
We will soon know.
The latter will ironically be the most fun to watch as they are starting from such a low base that makes it impossible to catch City, Liverpool, Chelsea & United. It also will signal to the existing squad that they won't be around which hopefully will lead to relegation.
If they don't get some top football people in soon they will squander billions as the new lord and lady know feck all about football.
Yep at least we stood up.You must be logged on to see external links
No, it's not a 'coincidence', I've already explained why I came back, do you need me to quote it again for you? Do you really need me to do that?Yet still waited until you were allegedly named the world's richest club? I'm sure it's pure coincidence

And do you really think I'd need to wait for Newcastle to become the richest club in the world to wind you up? Really? Since I've came back all I have done is comment that I'm surprised with the amount of human rights activists posting and you're already crying... It would have been really easy for me to wind you up during the past 4 years if I wanted to.

We have an office through work in Newcastle, and a few mates from my town jumped on the keegan bandwagon. Not one appears conflicted. Its all about the cash. The grim stuff is just glossed over. I personally think you are being disingenuous to suggest otherwise for the bulk of your support.I don't think Newcastle fans are giddy at the thought of being owned by murderers, if Ashley had sold us to Shipman for £30 and a blowy we'd not be happy.
