The difference being the press absolutely berated our appointment of PDC who, incidentally as far as I recall, hadn’t ordered and carried out murder.
Yet the same press that vilified us for appointing PDC are creaming themselves over a takeover by a murderous regime.
If you can’t see the difference …
The NE press have always been shite at covering SAFC.

I’ve got a few mag mates who are actually deliberately gloating in what has happened 😳

Couldn’t give a toss about anything other than they think they will buy the league.

Pretty sickening in all honesty, and these are what I thought were quite middle of the road not you’re usual mag knackers😡😞
I’m totally the same, I would have sort of accepted it if they’d been up front and said, yep we know they are murdering b*****s but we want the money.
They haven’t even done that, just been peed off with people who’ve questioned the people who’ve bought them.
Social conscience and morals already bought and squwed. Sports washing at its very best

It's probably a phase they'll have to go through, but these types of transfers will help the likes of Man U pull even further ahead of them (and everyone else).

Having a club who are willing to pay top dollar for their unwanted players is actually a dream come true for the big clubs.

The only Newcastle fan I have control of is myself.

I no longer go to games or subscribe to Sky, neither of which are connected to this deal, so I'm not contributing to the club. I have an £18 per annum internet streaming service.

The only time I see what some bellend has written is when it is repeated on here and portrayed as the thoughts of all Newcastle fans which is a grossly unfair generalisation.

The other generalisation that grates is the repeated claims on here that you lot are somehow different to people who you work with or live close to. You're not. You have just as many bellends and just as many decent folk. The idea that if the roles were reversed you wouldn't have knackers waving the Saudi flag is laughable.

You come across as a reasonable bloke - but just like your previous post you're choosing your targets and avoiding the ones about your fans.

If the situation were reversed you wouldn't find me on a Newcastle message board laughing at NUFC fans pointing out that SAFC fans were abusing widows, minimising 130,000 deaths and ignoring KSA NUFC accounts telling gay SAFC fans to "die".

I'd be too f***ing embarrassed.

Sigh. Without wishing to reopen the controversy, it would be disingenuous if I didn't mention the circumstances of Di Canios arrival. I thought it was handled abysmally. The media frenzy which followed it was deeply unedifying - these things often are - but it originated from the resignation of David Miliband, one of Sunderland's own directors, a former Foreign Secretary, and a man whose family fled to Britain to escape persecution from fascism. Whether or not you accept his motivation, it was that which made the ISSUE of Di Canio's alleged political views relevant, heightened by our region's push to eradicate intolerance from society in general and football in particular. The tone of outrage from the club was misplaced. Di Canio addressed it; fine, good, that's the end of it as far as I'm concerned, albeit with a caveat. For all the accompanying dismay, one of the great pleasures of covering Sunderland over the years has been the club's firm sense of place, tradition and community. For me, that has been dented. And I hate writing that.

Eh? The media have certainly criticised them from what I have seen?

Apparently the business plan was 50m a year for 5 years into the club plus other investments in the community. Money needs to be spent on infrastructure swell.

The above investment on top of what the club generates with improved sponsorship deals should put them in a strong position. It's not man city though, is it?

£50m per season is light when you think they signed Willock for £25m. It's not going to get them in the champions league any time soon, if that is the case mind.

£50 million is buttons. If they move ground they'll start protesting again won't they? Like I've said I don't think this will be anything near what they're expecting. The main point is they've sold their souls to the devil. I pray its Mike's last "fuck you" and they become a non destination for any Manager or player with any decency.
Cant see it exile mate. too many people are having a rant at this moment but it will quieten down. Sure it will blow up now and again but money talks. This was always going to happen strategic allies since the 1930s. 30k Brits working over there earning great money. Billions in trade. If it wasn't NUFC it would have been someone else. I think if they steadily invest at a reasonable rate and have a go that will be great. Rebuild the youth teams and training facilities then people will be happy. I know through council connection the water has been tested on adding on to the capacity of the ground and matchday experience. For the average fan that will be enough

Ok the nut jobs will talk silly signings. That won't happen. Ok maybe one superstar to spark the light but generally decent players that will improve the team and management

Don't think any fan will be thinking about the devil anytime soon but who knows

All I’ve had is but they invest in Man U (some sponsor 🤷‍♂️) Uber etc and why should we not enjoy what’s coming😞

Am hoping sponsors, players and other supporters turn their backs on them 🙏

They’ll not be winning the league anytime soon with those 4 . Martial is a mercenary, Bailly plays about 10 games a season , Beek’s shite and Lingard has had one good season .

That’s because they assume everyone loves them and thinks like they do. Fecking idiots. They are about to find out just how much everyone loves them.
