You lot mocked us for been deluded and not happy with been a “established PL club”. But I think if we were happy with just been 16th and staying up and put zero pressure on Ashley would he have ever sold!? Probably not. If we didn’t have higher expectations and want to get back to what we were in the 90s/00s would we have even been looked at? Imagine staveley coming to the game and seeing a quiet club content with where it’s at. No we were straining at the leash and she could feel that, now ashleys shackles have been taken off we have been set loose. Look what happened the last time something similar to this happened, the place was bouncing, had mass media coverage and hysteria, broke world transfer records and almost won the title and played champions league.
It was ridiculous that you didn’t win anything in that period considering the investment. If they’d managed that period properly you may never have had to experience Mike Ashley.

I'm merely giving my opinions, not defending myself. I have nothing to defend about myself.

The Reuben brothers are already heavily invested in the city.
If this set up ultimately drips down the north east, are people going to give it up? I doubt it.

Well go and fecking gloat about your newfound wealth on the mag or similar. Tit.

Because they wouldn't fall for it. Their supporters might have 6 toes on each foot, but they're not limited to 6 brain cells each.
They would have been exactly the same man. As would you if they had bought little old Sunderland. Not that they ever would as you don’t have the profile and you have such a inferiority complex

Probably because we have a massive passionate support and a big profile of been a top club and playing in the champions league in recent memory. And they know the fervour of our support will see them treated like heroes and that the atmosphere will be better than if they had picked some tinpot club like Villa
2003 is hardly recent memory and the only big profile is your fans bellies

Feels like the 90s all over again. Be large swathes of black and white territory all over the north east ( not that there isn’t already)

Plastic fans aren't really fans. They'll soon disperse and go into hiding again when it all comes crashing down, which it undoubtedly will do.

Ive normally been quite level headed on here and even was on an earlier post because i really think yous are going in the right direction now under KLD and will be back in the prem in a few years and it will be class for the north east but i told to "lick me shaft" and that im "plastic"..
If you’re from Seaham and supporting that lot then you’re about as plastic as it gets.

How have i buried my head in the sand mate?
You go on about our ex owner and the changing seats and calling us cretins.

Your owner is the most despised man in the West. The only blokes who liked him were Epstein and Prince Andrew . Says enough really.

Your owner is the state of Saudi. Your club has been sold by Mike to them. Never likes losing does Mike.

You are shafted. But hopefully not over in Saudi as its castration for that.

They despise them mate. Maybe a little less than the rest of us as they are serving a purpose. “Useful idiots” if you like. But they despise them. Their lives, their culture, where they live and what they are.

Let's just that, in Riyadh, holding the flag while simultaneously necking a can of Stella would see you minus the offending hand(s). Bet that got edited out of any footage on Saudi TV.

They would have been exactly the same man. As would you if they had bought little old Sunderland. Not that they ever would as you don’t have the profile and you have such a inferiority complex
Please search my previous posts, you intellectual midget.
I would rather watch Sunderland play in the Northern Alliance than be in your club's position today.
Your takeover has made me even more proud of my club than I already thought I could be.
Please also search 'moral compass'.

All in the past. Used to, dosent matter if it’s used to apparently. Us been high profile in the 90s and 00s had nothing to do with us getting this takeover. Don’t know why they didn’t pick Norwich to be honest.
All in the past and then you talk about the 90’s that is 25 year ago very strange. You’ve just called Villa tinpot flub, you’ve made yourself look very stupid very quick on here. Some good patter completely ruined by you just being either completely thick or just arrogant

*SNIP WAFFLE OUT*
You had to watch us from 94-2006 in Europe most seasons while you mostly floated about the wilderness with a team of cloggers and that’s what’s ahead the next decade too. Can see us reaching 200 games in Europe before you ever add to the 4 you played in the 70s :lol:

You mean those 8 of 14 seasons you finished top 10 and the other 6 bottom half, all down to spending the money from the blossoming Premier League? The average position for 10 seasons prior to 1992 was summit like 21st

Bow down to the mighty Mags history with their brief overspending years highlighted in purple and those 8 great seasons of winning nowt but a top 10 position medal. In fact look at all those top 10 finishes prior to 1992, there's just so many of them! 😂

Your post is 1992eritis in full effect 🤣 Oh and I bet it's not only me who can't wait to see this all going to shit and the self entitled deluded 1992ers turning on the owners when they don't get Mbappe, Haaland etc. You'll end up with the cast offs who can't be arsed at bigger clubs offering them silly wages but still end up winning fuck all apart from a lower top 10 position finishing medal.

They've won fuck all. Their last trophy was 69 and they haven't been to Wembley for a cup final since the 90s

@Roger - this is an absolute embarrassment. This t****r has not been here since May...wonder why he is back? Just get rid of these WUM's.

Presume none of these mags have partners when they ask.."what you doing on a Sunderland board", "Winding them up".......that will get them frothing. Sad fecks all of them.
