It's unreal mate, someone posting saying we won't even have a club in 6 months. How in fucks name could anyone arrive at that conclusion. We can go about our business as usual whilst they dance around the Arabs gold Bentleys dressed in their re-purposed bed sheets and tea towel head ware. They have a potential relegation to deal with yet.
It's like the keegan era never happened.

It has to be more than that though to even stay up while building a new training ground etc
We will see soon enough, they need a whole new team so January will show their intentions. Some of the reaction on here is way ott in my view, apparently we will be out of business in 6 months and even if we somehow survive we will have no fans anymore. Its embarrassing.

Can get the money bit, but the Saudis?!
I'd be disgusted if that was us.
There’s only our fans saying this. Might be small minorities of other clubs fans but the majority don’t give a shite.
It’s like us caring if Crystal Palace had been taken over by them

Surely the Keegan era if anything spurred us on to get our shit together? Reid’s era we had the best manager, team and placings in my lifetime by quite a large distance plus a golden boot winner

We’re still part owned by a bunch of Charlatans & the mags are going to massively invest in the youth squad/infrastructure. We will fall well behind them in terms of recruitment.

The young lads will obviously want to go there down the line. We are struggling to hold onto our talent already with players going to likes of Everton never mind giving them the option to stay in the area.
Presumably your mentally just transposing Man City's set up to Newcastle. Is there any evidence that that is going to be their approach? Have they talked about their plans? Genuine question.

We're clearly setting our club up very differently from what they will become, an approach I favour and would always have given the choice. We're going to be able to offer something they won't be and that is pathway. There's already a clear change in mentality in younger players in big team Academies. We've only just set off down this path and we've already been taking prospects from Spurs and Leeds, once the model is fully operational it will be a massive feather in our cap and we'll continue to be able to attract top coaches and top talent regardless of how much the Mags' fortunes improve.
