They’re not a different breed to us mate at end of day (except for animal cruelty), the vast majority of our fans would be buzzing just like theirs

Well, I beg to differ like, look at the uproar when di canio was appointed, there was hell on then, I remember thinking people.had overreacted because it was just politics, but this isn't just politics it's murder and terrorism we're talking about.

MP’s looking after their jobs shocker !!
Chi is the ultimate hypocrite so it’s no surprise
Wasn't just her though.
Here's a list of the MPs that put their name to the letter sent to the Premier League to pressurise them following their initial rejection of the Saudi take over.

Sunderland, Durham, and Jarrow MPs amongst them.
Would be nice if it bit them on the arse come polling day.

Ian Mearns (Labour – Gateshead)

Kate Osbourne (Labour – Jarrow)

Chi Onwurah (Labour – Newcastle Central)

Sharon Hodgson (Labour – Washington and Sunderland West)

Ian Levy (Conservative – Blyth Valley)

Alex Cunningham (Labour – Stockton North)

Emma Lewell-Buck (Labour – South Shields)

Catherine McKinnel (Labour – Newcastle upon Tyne North)

Liz Twist (Labour – Blaydon)

Richard Holden (Conservative – North West Durham)

Ian Lavery (Labour – Wansbeck)

Mary Kelly (Labour – City of Durham)

Sadly one would have to assume this is the case. I'm really surprised (unless they're being drowned out) about the lack of concern from Newcastle fans

Especially once we get up to the Championship.
That’s when KLD and his entourage will get excited and start to really move us forward. They’ll have some additional good contacts too. Penny for his thoughts at the moment.

SAFC COO Steve Davison and Speakman on in Quinn’s bar 7-9pm tonight as part of the Sunderland Business Festival. This has got to be part of the conversation-how they feel about our neighbours takeover looking at it in the longer term, and how serious are our ambitions in their opinion etc..

There's a big difference to what's happening now though, football is becoming a political warzone, it's like someone complaining about the Brexit lies and someone saying well politicians have always lied, whilst thats true it's now at such a level that it's costing people far more than it ever has and the same is happening with our clubs, every year they become less about the fans and more about the international market, that's what international competition is for, the premier League is becoming and international playground for states to arm wrestle.
Don't disagree. Football is becoming the arena for political powers to throw down.

I've probably got more enjoyment watching the non-league stuff than I have at a BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD, AND IT'S LIVE game. Can stand, drink, and all that for a fiver.

However, I'm still a Newcastle fan, and I've no say in who owns the club (as the last 14yrs have proven), so I'll enjoy of it what I can. If these new owners get us some good players, and a good manager, and we play some good football that leads (eventually) to a trophy? Then that's what I'll enjoy.
