Yep they've had their chance but wasted it. Absolutely piss poor recruitment, no planning, and dreadful set of managers. Didn't they spend £50m on Bolasie?

You'd think that the Saudis will be much better prepared - although there are certain caps.
 

Part of being a supporter of your footy club is a sense of pride it gives you. I know full well that when swfc won summat or got promoted, I felt the warm glow of not only feeling happy but also knowing that most supporters around the country wanted to give us their appreciation.

I like that.

Never will the fans of Chelsea or Man city feel that way, they can't triumph without the " it's only because your minted", being thrown at them. The same will now apply to Newcastle if they ever win anything. Real fans of those clubs will deep down begrudgingly know that.

The shine of winning anything is totally dulled.
Ive no doubt the young uns will be giving it large, " loads a money" but it's all just false bollocks.

I feel sorry for them, rather than looking on in envy.
 
I'll hoy my two pennies in as I've said a lot over the past few months. For starters it's happening and there's fuck all we right minded folk can do about it.

I can't quite believe the PL are passing this and the main objection was the piracy.

I think they will be disappointed with what is actually spent as the PIF is a profit making vehicle I.e. I think there may be a couple of marquee signings however nothing like they're expecting.

That Chi woman is an absolute f***ing disgrace but that fits with their fans and new owners.

I hope they get dogs abuse everywhere they play and as the Kings of Protesters like being ran by a regime where free speech and protests are forbidden.

Football in this country is dead when we are letting murderers to the table. Same for F1 & Boxing.

They are 100% going to be used as a Sportswashing exercise.

I think and hope they're in for a shock after these f***ing Scum get their feet under the table.

Lastly I hope its goes massively tits up and in a few years they move on or that the join the ESL which they were so against when they weren't invited.

And they didn’t get anywhere with it. And now they’ve had to reign it right back because of how much they’ve spent without increasing revenue.

Could happen to anyone who tries to buy the league. You really need to get it right.

I think you're right, it will be a lot of hollow victories if it goes that way. Best case scenario for them is being the club that were nothing before the Saudi's showered them in blood money.

CL for a few years. 5th about 10 years ago. It's better than we've had for about 80 years.
