Ive seen a few "dream lineups" posted, with Haaland, Mbappe etc in. In nearly every on of them St Maximin is still there. Hes a good player but it feels odd seeing him line up with Messi and Mbappe when you can supposedly sign any player in the world. They proper love him.

We can all laugh at jake humphrey etc but this will end up being the reality. Its not like in Manchester where United will always be tma behemoth and are able to compete to some extent.

How are Sunderland fucked? We are also investing in our academy setup for the first time in years and have a promising young owner who has ambition to take the club forward.

Yeah we are honestly fucked imo. Already got the winnets hanging onto shares, we are trying to be a model where we promote young players & now the mags are gonna come along and pump X number of millions into their youth teams like City did. No fucker will want to come here.

We’re still part owned by a bunch of Charlatans & the mags are going to massively invest in the youth squad/infrastructure. We will fall well behind them in terms of recruitment.

The young lads will obviously want to go there down the line. We are struggling to hold onto our talent already with players going to likes of Everton never mind giving them the option to stay in the area.
