NUFC/Sportswashing - Summer 2022

He was the mag equivalent of Nick Barnes for over 20 years, first at Metro Radio then BBC Newcastle.

He started when they averaged 16,000 a game, couldn’t believe his luck when they sacked Ossie and hired Keegan.

Bizarre Big Mick got riled about Adam Pearson appearing once on Radio Newcastle as he had a much longer ride
I used to quite like him, he obviously loved his job and NUFC and he seemed to be popular with the listeners. Left suddenly and under a cloud and judging by the tweets above, he now seems to have lost the plot completely. Sad to see.

He’s not from the area but definitely fell in love with NUFC. I don’t think he’s a bad person, just venting on Twitter which never goes well

Not sure how it ended up in here meant to put it in the Queen thread. Good to see Talksport are investigating it, should never have had him on in the first place
Oh dear Mick Lowes going in on Adam P hahaha

Vile club, vile owners, vile fans -the fact they all cant see anything wrong with that tweet: they're unhinged man, all that matters is their f'kin scummy club!

Can only imagine Twatter is a horrible place really. I quite despair when I think of some of the bullying shit that must go on regards that platform. Not meaning football but in general.

Two young grandkids and hope they stay well clear, but by time they grow up god knows what social media shite akin to that will be around.

Theres been a few times ive been tempted to sign up to twitter and then see something that someone has tweeted on a site like this and thought no, not for me.

I only get diverted through to Twitter to watch videos and to see twats put on here. I said on a different thread I originally started I have been on twitter a few times and closed my account as it's just to easy to respond to people and end up getting into arguments

Twitter is good if you use it right. Follow decent accounts rather than attention seeking psyhopaths.
I don't post on it but follow all relevant stuff to me. If you tailor your feed to what you want it's spot on.
If you find twitter to be crap it's your own fault by following the wrong people.
Twitter is great, used to be even better.

Now the replies to every single tweet are pathetic.

I’ve muted loads of words yet they still come through.

I dont use it so not much of an idea how it works in truth.

Just not everyone are as sensible as above and I do fear a large section of society, especially the youth are especially not.

Absolutely. People get caught up in it and it becomes too serious. I find it easier to not post, got nowt worth saying anyway to about 12 followers. Account set to private so people don't find me. For me it's just an information source. Everything I'd have browsed the web for on separate sites is all on twitter now with a few funny/comedy accounts thrown in.

I signed up purely because a lot of Northern League clubs use it, and it's good for following the league when you live 250 miles away!

It's all about what you want and how you use it. But 95% of it is drivel
