He was a class prospect but has really struggled last 18 months or so mind.

He looks a decent signing to be fair, they were desperate to splurge a wad of notes to keep the natives happy, especially with the injury issues with Wilson and Wood being bang average at best. Plus, it looks like they have been knocked back again with Paqueta in talks with West Ham
 
Waiting for the mags to say how good he is (despite never hearing his name prior), how he was always their number one target, he rejected Madrid etc to join the project. You know, the usual lies.

Sorry to keep interjecting it’s getting canny boring I know. But changing the culture of Saudi is not what many see as the issue, that is a bit ridiculous. It’s the sports washing and the acceptance of it. You say you are not ignoring but in a previous post you say you are “holding your nose”, not a lot of difference. Social change happens by small victories not an onslaught.

Very easy for Newcastle fans to make this back fire for you owners. But again it’s an issue of will. You don’t want to you would rather have a new signing.
