The old triggering release clauses for players from releageted clubs. Richest Club in the World.

While not so rich Everton are in for Michy Batshuayi.

If it was for OWC they'd have said so wouldn't they? Like they did last time?

They used that phrase for the equity injection. The phrasing this time was vague and could mean anything.

It could be that they have been promised a further injection by PIF in a few months time and will use this for growth (i.e. signings now). This is pure conjecture but a rough and ready calculation of the CF indicates they do not have Paquetta type money swimming around and that would need more equity from PiF.

Time will tell but I don't see anything in the announcement that gives confidence.

unfinished....

... as the club are now on the precipice of being entirely dependent on a volatile state. If MA buggered off it was fine as the club washed it's own face but now every year the begging bowl needs to go out to PiF just to make ends meet. Think of what happened with RA at Chelsea - who know's what is around the corner.

They won lots of trophies?

Who? Not Newcastle obviously.
Haha of course they did. I was asked to write for the Financial Times but I said no I’m going to write my bollocks on RTG!

Slight nuance here is that they were interested in him last summer (OGS manager) but no evidence of them being interested in him come January (new manager).

One of the camel humpers replies included “Journalism is truly dead”

I agreed with him if he was alluding to the Death of Jamal Khashoggi.
Don’t know if he replied because I don’t use it other than to catch up and comment.

“And yeah, he's a friend of mine. I make no apologies for having friends and being loyal to them. That's what friends do”

It’s also client journalism 😄
