New member defending John Hall, calling themselves Roker and from Seaham. Come on mate at least try and be discreet
Ehhh? How is saying he got the name of a competition wrong defending him? Are you seriously suggesting he was talking about Newcastle playing a real game in the 90s in a league that doesn’t exist?! Baffling.

I’m not calling myself ‘Roker’, the name is MidnightRoker which is obviously a pun on a Steve Miller Band song

Thanks for the welcome I guess 😒

They are absolutely furious :lol::lol::lol::lol:
Clear as day what will happen, they will panic and buy an average player for £30-£40 million towards the end of the transfer window and their fans will love it because the filthy rich mags have splashed the cash. Then they will all be on Staveleys back by Christmas when they are in the bottom half, she will have her 10% share bought out and will pay Ashley and the Reubens the money she loaned from them and the deluded world of rtg twitter will still be a fat virgin.

it’s so obvious man, you’ve been outed within a post or 2.
Unrest us definitely brewing.

'We need to make a financial statement' apparently.
“Investment in the region”

“We just want a team that tries”

Pretty much my prediction all along. How long until her husband has to leave Twitter?

it will vary from fan to fan but even the most level headed fan deep down secretly thinks they will be challenging and signing superstars. Sabre may only attach a 5% prob on this but some idiots will be 100%. Against that enough will never be enough and it will be glorious watching it unfurl.

I’m confused by that clip. Obviously he wasn’t talking about a super league in the way that term was understood to mean last year, but I can’t think what he’s referring to unless this video wasn’t actually from 1994 at all (it does look later) so either he is talking about the preseason friendly league from 2002 (0-2 loss so seems unlikely) or he is talking about the 3-2 UCL win from 1997 and has just completely got the name of the competition wrong 🤔 did people casually call the UCL the ‘super league’ in the 90’s? I know it went through significant branding changes in ‘92
The clip is 94, and the super league was talked about even back then. Probably just coincidence they used Barcelona for the clip rather than any of the other European big names.

Personally I would be happy with a season not looking over our shoulders.

They are pretty much redundant now Ashworth has joined. They will slip off into the background until they are bought out they are just investors/leeches who know fk all about football. They’ve only been the face of the takeover because well they couldn’t have their majority owner outside of St James Park with a bonesaw and dodging the gays being thrown from the roof.

Outed in what way? Have I contradicted anything I’ve said? No. Have I claimed to be something I’m not? No. Are you engaged in constant paranoid forum level Mcarthyism? Seems that way.
Someone mention Mcarthyism (which is unusual in itself given your lots lack of knowledge prior to 1992) the other day, so which stinker are you really?

Jesus f***ing wept man 🙈🙈🙈🙈
It's as if the Saudi's don't exist and the club is all owned by him (and his wife) as he's the one doing the social media side of things. This is the exact reason they are the 'face' of the club so they deflect away from the true owners and get the adoration for all the 'investment'. There's a few arse rimming comments but I wonder if they'd be saying the same if it was 100% Saudi ownership? In fact, doesn't she not really own her share outright given she loaned money to finance it?
