Hope Caulkin and all the disgusting NE Magmedia and Chi Onwurah and self preserving politicians read this and feel f***ing ashamed.
Newcastle as a city and fans have absolutely no shame IF it means their owners spend money only on the team
Apparently LIV golf will soon be on the Newcastle shirts. It’s grotesque and the Mags seem so happy to be used like a dirty little cuckold.
How shallow can the manager behEddie get to be part of this circus 🎪

It only takes 1 player to refuse to sign for them and publicly state that it’s because of the Saudi owners, then the whole thing will come down like a pack of cards. But who am I kidding footballers have no morals when it comes to money

They're despised throughout the majority of the golfing world.

Be interesting how many scum supporters who love golf will react. Though I think I have an idea.

Makes sense as both Projects fit the new Saudi policy - target established fanbases

Sportswashing from the Olympics to LIV

“I define sportswashing as when political leaders use sports to appear important or legitimate on the world stage,” said Jules Boykoff, a professor of politics and government at Pacific University, “while stoking nationalism and deflecting attention from chronic social problems back home.”

“Sportswashing” as a term is a relatively recent invention, but as a concept — the use of sports or other gaudy extravaganzas as a way to obscure a nation’s legal, moral, ethical or humanitarian flaws — sportswashing dates back nearly a century. Adolf Hitler staged the 1936 Olympics in Berlin, and the resulting goodwill and national pride helped Hitler consolidate power and aim higher in the years leading up to World War II afterward.

More recently, Russia spent the equivalent of tens of billions of dollars to host the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and the 2018 World Cup. China staged the Winter Olympics in Beijing earlier this year at a phenomenal human and financial cost, despite worldwide condemnation of China’s treatment of minority ethnic groups. even though reported inhumane conditions have reportedly led to the deaths of thousands of workers constructing soccer stadiums.

Saudi Arabia has been more globally active, hosting a Formula 1 race in Jeddah. Saudi money now reaches the Kentucky Derby (Medina Spirit, the 2021 winner before being stripped of the title, was owned by a Saudi sheikh) and the English Premier League (Newcastle United is now owned by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, the same fund that bankrolls LIV).

“What’s different with LIV Golf and Newcastle United is that it’s happening outside of their sovereign territory,” Boykoff said. “It’s tapping into already-established fandom. Something different is happening there.”

The CEO of Liv Golf Majed Al Sorour is on the Newcastle board now so wouldn’t be surprised.
I think Greg Norman is CEO of LIV, but undoubtedly PIF links.
Given how many mag golfers I know are anti LIV, it would be great if they got a shirt sponsorship 😂

Hopefully when you log on here tomorrow you will cringe like fuck and think f***ing hell what an absolute embarrassment I am. I spend all day every day on a Sunderland message board which is tragic enough and not only that the stuff I post is beyond ridiculous.

We get a fair few mags on here and I have to say that beyond a shadow of a doubt you are the most embarrassing worthless tragic simpleton of the lot. Congratulations
No no im not having that hes only in the top 5 most embarrasing worthless tragic simpletons of the lot.

The thing I don't get with the mags and their logic is if Ashley whilst he was still owner was accused with say assaulting someone or a hit and run or sexual assault, they would absolutely be going f***ing nuts they would be petitions going in and all sorts.

Now those crimes would be awful but their new mega rich owners are doing far far worse things in the world blowing up women and children murdering gays, stoning women who've been raped and yet not a f***ing peep out of them it's as if they have no morals and all perspective goes out the window because of money

One of them, I think it was Dan Burn, was saying tomorrow will be a good pointer of how far they have come after they play Man City, well they haven't progressed that far after seeing them get played off the park in the second half against Brighton. These are the calibre of the teams the should be comparing themselves to, at the moment, not the Man City's and there ilk.
He’ll be seeing from the bench.I cannot see the Mugs selecting a giraffe tomorrow against Man City.
