I'm 54. I've made peace with the fact that we'll probably not get anywhere near them in my Lifetime now. Geographically they'll always be our rivals but sporting wise I'm just trying to pull away from it all (easier said than done I admit). They'll spend whatever they need to spend to get right to the very top of the game, aided by the Premier League and the likes of Sky Sports, the former who will no doubt move the goalposts to assist them like they did when they waved the takeover though, and Sky who will continue their Pro Mag Propaganda.

We just need to concentrate on us. Whether that's on League One, The Championship or hopefully back in the Premier League one day. They aren't really important. They've chosen their path and that's how it is.

The one thing that will grind on me is seeing more and more of them infiltrate our traditional areas like what happened 30 years ago. God fobid they do actually start winning trophies this time the effect it could have on our future support could be horrendous. That's my main concern.

If they can spend whatever they need then how can they not sign Dan Burn

Another deal fallen through, there was absolutely no way that Brazilian was ever signing for Newcastle. Lots of shitty websites are having a daily field day at the expense of Newcastle fans, click bait heaven.

Shes heavily involved and on the board along with her husband

Definitely sumit way off with this takeover imo
Whats weird is Stavely and hubby have been given a ‘management contract’ to run the club. I’ve always found that phrase a bit weird.

Surely you just appoint someone to job and say they’ve been given the job of chief executive or whatever. It makes it sound like they are freelancers and won a bid for work 🤣🤷‍♂️

From a distance it looks like they’re signing an absolute bum…

But clearly doesn't suit Lyon. Who know they can afford more and want the money now for their own FFP rules (if the French league has them - which it probably doesnt)
Lyon have previous of doing this when a deal is close. Lacazette, Mendy, Fakir to name a few. They have to notify the Paris stock exchange first so don't cave in until its all done as it could detrimental to share prices mid transfer.

It's about investment, reputation and prestige.

The Saudi investment fund owns large percentages of Disney and Carnival cruises. Yesterday they closed out a $1.5billion deal to buy out a large 'esports' operator.

deluded him like
Disney's worth about 140 billion, PIF bought less than half a billion of shares, so very small percentage really
