Her husband is too busy photoshopping his face onto Shearer’s body scoring a goal against our worst ever team 16 years ago. Very small timeShes heavily involved and on the board along with her husband
Definitely sumit way off with this takeover imo

It's about investment, reputation and prestige.If they stay up we should know pretty quickly what their intentions are. I just don't see the Saudi government being involved if it's potentially going to be a penny pinching operation, or even just an average PL club.
deluded him likeTurns out you can't be critical of Saudi ownership AND ask for payment for players instead of giving them away now.

Like Edwards is the one journalist I've respected out of all of this.
Buying a shit club in a regional backwater still doesn't add up for that, though. Newcastle is never going to be a glamorous international tourist destination, no matter how many lights they stick on their bridge.If they stay up we should know pretty quickly what their intentions are. He's the only one I've seen prepared to criticise the regime.He’s probably the only one that gets info correct.
He can be a bit of a tit at times like.
It's about power and international leverage too.It's about investment, reputation and prestige.
The Saudi investment fund owns large percentages of Disney and Carnival cruises. Yesterday they closed out a $1.5billion deal to buy out a large 'esports' operator.

Sportswashing
What other reason do middle eastern regimes take over at European football clubs for other than improving their image through success? PSG, Man City, now Newcastle.

Richest club in the world![]()
I didn't realise this Dan Burn kid was from Blyth.....
1. "Trips" - his missus desperate to get back in the North of England;
2. Wood - shares same agent as "Trips" and they end up paying 25m for someone not even on their radar just because he shares the same agent as "Trips" and had a buy out clause;
3. Dan Burn - from NE and a toon fan...say no more;
4. This Bruno fella possibly the 1st proper signed player....
Tragic.

Cut Shearer's head off. Can't help themselves can they?Her husband is too busy photoshopping his face onto Shearer’s body scoring a goal against our worst ever team 16 years ago. Very small time
It doesn't have to be, they just have to be successful on the pitch, it's about the reputation of Saudi Arabia not getting people to travel to Newcastle.Buying a shit club in a regional backwater still doesn't add up for that, though. 5 years!?
Have they come to the end of the budget already?
But it's part and parcel of being an elite level club - it should be somewhere you can attract players to, and a base to schmooze business contacts doesn't hurt either. If they ever come close to elite level, it'll be as a franchise club based in London (or Neom).It doesn't have to be, they just have to be successful on the pitch, it's about the reputation of Saudi Arabia not getting people to travel to Newcastle.
For clarity, if there are any government agencies reading this, Exile isn’t a terrorist.Banned from twitter for correctly describing Newcastle owners as terrorists, meanwhile there are actual terrorists allowed to have twitter accounts. It’s down to you now Exile![]()
