Nail on head mate ! thats my point exactly..... Trippier seems like a "penis extexnsion" of a signing ! absolutley NO thought behind it whasoever, it's just "look at us and how much we have spent on an England international n tha"Coady is one of the most sensible suggestions I’ve heard. However, as he hasn’t won anything elsewhere and is currently playing for little old Wolves, the egos won’t allow it.
.. I burst out laughing when that deluded mag said he was coming for the 'project' .. Some of the daft fuckers actually believe their own hypeStarts just after 8 mins here

I couldn’t believe Sinclair having a go at Danny Mills saying he has no morals. Sinclair was convinced of racially abusing a police officer the scumbag.. I burst out laughing when that deluded mag said he was coming for the 'project' .. Some of the daft fuckers actually believe their own hype..
Hadaway and shite man, I'd never condone zero hours, but at least they had some sort of choice. He did something worse, he employed people on zero hours contracts
They’ll stay up. I’m 100% sure of it.It's obviously a short term fix to try and stay in the Premier League and they need to overpay given their league position. Having a few players on inflated wages/bonuses won't really affect their FFP as much as it would by being relegated and being in the Championship. If they stay up then they'll get sponsorship deals that they wouldn't get in the Championship but relegation could cost them £10's millions in lost revenue, along with at least 1 wasted season.
If they stay up then quite a few more players heads, who 'bottled' the keep the mags up challenge, will be turned in the summer and the wages won't need to be as overinflated. Trippier is obviously going there for the money as he thinks it's worth the risk. I reckon he's probably also been offered a bonus if they stay in the Premier League as an incentive to put a bit graft in as just paying high wages won't neccesarily mean 100% effort on the pitch.
Bear in mind, he'd still command a decent wage so they're just 'wasting' the overinflated premium & potential bonus all while getting a decent defender. There's a risk they could fuck it up and still go down but now he's joined a few more players may well join them and this will obviously help their chances of escaping relegation.
This 'levels' bullshit is their new thing then? Pity they can't apply that to what makes a bad owner. Zero hour contracts vs war crimes & state-sponsored assassinations: #levels
Sadly I agree hope I’m wrong thoThey’ll stay up. I’m 100% sure of it.
I liked the part where Danny Mills text Sinclair and said he would play in the Conference for £150k per week.FFP won't be a problem for them as they'll be getting some dodgy sponsorship deal sooner rather than later.
They've went for Trippier as you say as a "penis extension" but that means it will turn other players heads if they think "Well, Trippier's gone there so it may be worth the risk". If Trippier turned them down then it would have been a blow but they've got a 'marquee signing'. If they signed Coady then would he have the same effect on other potential buys to come join him? Of course he wouldn't.Nail on head mate ! thats my point exactly..... Coady would have been perfect. Not a world beater but a good solid pro who always gives his all, and a fairly decent player to boot, he would have probably been a lot less is fees and wages too. A signing that gets them to the next level, then kick onto bigger and better.
Hopefullythis is their model like I have already stated. Because at the minute they look like shelf stickers who have been shoe horned into a transplant theatre![]()
Watford are our best hope, have a far easier run in than Burnley. They’ll stay up. I’m 100% sure of it.
Sack Ranieri and appoint Big Sam and they might stand a chance.Watford are our best hope, have a far easier run in than Burnley.
I also feel Watford have some goals in them which Burnley don't.
However I did expect the mags to be cut more adrift than they currently are.
Would be f***ing hilarious if he fails the medical. They'll probably sign him anyway![]()
Probably. Hope he didnt go to stick his chowy under the seat cos might be a bit of an ex journalist stuck under it.![]()
