Im with 2 mags now watching the boxing.

Both of them have said it’s a disgrace what’s happened with us.
Similar to my experiences, while they rightfully pull the piss, they do acknowledge at team of Sunderland's standing shouldn't be in our position.
This. Imagine this place if it were the other way round, we would be ecstastic with endless threads taking the piss. I don't blame any Mags for ripping the piss out if us, they should be.
True, but as I said on a previous post true mag fans think it's a disgrace.

True Mags think what’s a disgrace?

Or your friends are being kind? I'm a true mag...I in no way see it as a "disgrace" if you were to get into financial trouble that would be different.
That a team like SAFC have sunk so low, they thought it would happen to them in 92

There is some truth in this. Obviously the demise of Sunderland Football Club is to be celebrated & have got numerous bans over the years for saying so. But now things have got so bad have posted less. Whats the point? Sunderland fans are so brutal & critical of their own club that coming on here for a wind up cant match the vitriol that is now rampant on the board.

Well the ones I know are taking the piss
We are down but not out
funny owld game football , it can change rapidly in a relatively short period of time

Don't worry...you can still be rivals with our under 23's!
3000 of your lot turned up to that game, loads more wanted tickets, the roar when you got over the halfway line was like when Hartlepool played here in 2004, you even tried to have a battle in The Tram Car in Southwick

That was your biggest day of last season.

As long as that keeps you happy!

Before £34m was repaid in the last accounts our debt had more or less doubled in 10 years (it's still 1.5x what it was in 2008). We're not well run once you scrape beneath the veneer of our league finishes but that's a massive other discussion that has already been done to death.

Even without that discussion do you think it's acceptable that as we're clubs that comfortably average over 30+ every season for more or less the last 20 years we haven't won a trophy between us. I know attendances by no means guarantee trophies but it's an example of the size of both clubs.

That is spot on about the debt. He’s increased the debt, but the debt is to him, not a bank. At a time of ultra-low interest rates I would rather be in debt to a bank than that fat slug.

Why were Sunderland in debt to that American company at such high interest rates? Something appears remiss there too

As ever, it’s the people who support the club who bear the brunt of the people who run our clubs
