NUFC and other Sportswashing 2022 - Part 3

Who'd have thought it would be a RB who hadn't scored for 3 seasons until Tuesday would get the goals to keep them up

The Premier League need to be categorically asked “Are NUFC primarily owned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?”.

Cannot be allowed to go unanswered. Ultimately too many football fans will turn their back on the game because there will be no competition as the clubs with the most money will win everything and it’ll all become an absolutely corrupt bore-fest. It’s like that now in effect.
The clubs with the most money have been winning for years man, it’s not new.
Yes but they said if it later came out they were owned by the Saudi state that they could revoke their decision.

Now that it’s in full flow a senior journalist should insist on Richard Masters answering the question in the public arena. It’s bloody obvious who the main string pullers and majority finance providers are.
Don’t you want PIF to continue owning NUFC though? Because it’s really bad for the club? You know, the asterisk?

Seriously. Would you rather they’d bought us instead of the mags?

I'd have rather they'd bought us, and that's the truth. I've maybe got 20/25 years left on this planet, then I'm gone. The thought of seeing Sunderland being the richest club in the world and winning a few pots in the coming years before I depart would make me happier than I could ever describe using words!

A centre half playing upfront wouldn't be any worse than Wood. He literally couldn't trap a bag of cement.

Dwight Gayle is certainly better but won't get a start because Beheadie didn't spunk £25M on him.
Andy Carroll would have genuinely been a better option than Wood, says it all

Chris Wood is in appalling form. I only watched the last 15 minutes but in that time he won one header. The ball was just bouncing off him.

No goals in 4 starts says everything. I've just looked at some independent match ratings and he was given a 5 v Everton and a 4 today.

He's a 25M cart horse 😂
Yep. Not really done a great deal himself.

However, Saint - Maximin and Fraser now play as genuine wingers.

The shape and balance of the team is better. Willock playing more advanced with Shelvey and Joelinton holding form well in centre midfield.

The team carry a threat and have also tightened up defensively.

Wood may we have been the weakest of the signings, but Newcastle have without doubt strengthened in that window.

And fuck all the dead people. Still as long as you die happy eh. Something they didn’t get a chance to do.

They've won 2 very even games 1-0 with fluke freekicks. A horrendous goalkeeping error down Leeds. Today's went through the wall.

Beheadie is certainly carrying plenty of luck. Hopefully it will change. They are still crap.

Tbf you are judging them on what their most deluded fans say. If you look at it as avoiding relegation, they are now 4 points clear.

No, I'm judging them on actual performances and games stats. They've won 3 games and haven't even had 40% possession in any of them.

In the Leeds and Villa games they had more or less the same shots, on target and corners. On paper they should have been 0-0 draws but they've been gifted 3 points with large slices of luck.

To be honest, yes. My interest is Sunderland Association Football Club. I never gave a second thought about Human Rights in Saudi Arabia beforehand and if they'd bought us, I wouldn't be bothered about it either amd thats the truth.

You seriously reckon all the daft lads in the South Stand and the SWC would be holding some sort of human rights protest before every match if they'd bought us?

We'd all be jumping for joy, and that's a fact. Football is football.

Wake up Ffs!

About as much chance as people turning their backs on the Tories
