I'm referring to the op and his criticism of curvy
People considered normal weight now would have been fatties 40 years ago. What a bizarre thread. I don't think being fat has been 'normalised' at all. Overweight people are still seen as figures of fun or derision and women, in particular, are still being led down the 'perfect body' path.
See also 'bubbly', 'cuddly', and the time honoured 'lovely personality'.
A fit one.little man syndrome,probably a lycra twerp aswell
Sing Lofty.A fit one.
If you say so although the common usage of 'fatties' and worse on here suggests that it has hardly been normalised.People considered normal weight now would have been fatties 40 years ago.
No, it can't.Diabetes can be cured for nothing. That bomb can be diffused
?Sing Lofty.
No, it can't.
Type 2 (the one most people get) is generally, but not always, preventable. It can't be cured, but can be managed and even go into remission with the right lifestyle changes.
Can't be arsed to get into a thing with you at this time of night Harry. You're a born contrarian, although I'm sure you'll disagree.
The last sentence is my favourite, either way I win.
I get what you're saying but the daily mail?I'm an avid reader of the daily mail sidebar much to my own chagrin but I can't help but notice the creep of curvy and buxom etc.
It's not. It's fat and it's propagating a problem potentially worse than smoking. Nationally our diet is absolutely shit and diabetes is off the charts.
Don't know where I'm going with this rant to be fair but I need to vent.

It's true. When we were at school there was one fat lad, and he was called fat Kev.
I bet the kids nowadays don't use this naming system...
