south shields football club Australian branch give a fuck

But didn't two years back when they were playing at Peterlee in front of me, ten others and a dog. No threads on here about them then?

In other news, the North East's premier non league club who are currently 4 divisions ahead of South Shields and not eligible to play in a competition as low as the vase, beat Dagenham and Redbridge away 5-0 and have now won 4 and drawn 2 of their last 6 league games.

Aye but hardly any sunderland fans are from there its a mag stronghold. South Shields is rammed with Sunderland fans hence all the interest on here.

Non league football is great, went to a Vase match at Buckingham Town and the whole crowd of about 80 got involved in a punch up, it was only stopped when a copper on a bike turned up. Was at a Tring game v Banstead and the one Banstead fan sang about his team the whole game. Been to some picturesque grounds with 30-40 fans inside, and was able to stroll up to the turnstiles with no queue at kick off time and be able to have an ale whilst watching. Great times sigh!

Hello mate. Welcome to the non league section of the forum. Great post, hope to see more in the future! 80 seems a low crowd for vase tie on international weekend mind? Southerners obviously aren't as interested in grassroots as us!

They were pretty poor to be honest, worst team I've seen at Darlington this year. Although it was quite clear in the second half they were quite happy to sit back and take a point which is understandable and fair enough, keeps a decent gap at the top. Rowe has 95 goals since he signed for them two year ago  he was great in the first half, his goal wasn't half bad either.

Almost went to Dartford v St Albans during the week.
Been to see Welling a couple of times recently. Theyre sliding away now.
Leyton used to see a couple of times a year. Ditto Hastings, whose ground is one of the nicest in Southern England.

£12-15 a game for Conf/Conf South football is outrageous though.

15 years time Sunderland v Shields will be a league fixture. El Cleadono.

Well thats way ower my head. The feller wasnt on about this weekend I think.
