I had a similar experience there last year, daft stadium stuck randomly in a housing estate in the middle of nowhere, with one shite parochial train station that wouldn't look out of place in thomas the tank engine to handle thousands of gig goers, so also had to do the hour plus march through the streets at midnight to get back to humankind.Having witnessed the total clusterfuck that Hampden served up on Saturday for a concert, I've since come to the conclusion that any stadium or venue with more than 25,000 seats is capable of hosting gigs without any need to plan or execute any plan. Queues an hour long for a beer, queuing for tokens for half an hour to then join the beer queue for 40 minutes. No reasonable public transport after the gig, no taxis, train stations that were as good as useless so no way of getting back to civilisation without walking for an hour.
The operational bar, if you could call it that, was what appeared to be a hastily errected wallpapering table stocked with plastic bottles of unrefridgerated boiling hot tennents like something you would see at a church fate.
