It was started on here by a well known bullshitter and is repeated by well know bullshitters. It's into the consciousness now though, so no doubt will be repeated as fact forever. The power of the SMB I suppose.
 
I'm sure that big concerts at the SoL will always have made money for the club. Or at the very least for Ellis.

Not a Sheeran fan but he's the biggest pop act around today, he probably went to the place with the highest capacity in the region which I assume is SJP.

Glad he's gone there, gives me another chance to get someone I'd pay to see perform on my doorstep.

Thank fuck he's abysmal.

And there are very few acts that could fill a stadium in Sunderland. Mind he'd be one of them, in which case I'm glad they're not on anymore.

Well like I said, I was surprised, and in one of the links someone states Bain stated they made losses. Still trying to find the thread where someone showed the workings cos it was flying over my head.
